Chapter 74

Liz's POV

I wake up feeling a warm arm over my stomach and I snuggle back against their body getting comfy in their warmth. I run my hand gently over to their hand and start to run my fingers over theirs, but that is till something that feels wrong. Their fingers aren't the long skinny fingers I'm used to and the top of their hand is smooth with the occasional vein at the surface. But what really got my attention was the feeling of something poking me from behind. My eyes snap open and I scoot away in a hast, turning around to look at who was cuddled up to me and catching Leo's sleeping face before my ass meets the ground. I get to my feet and grab a pillow and smack him in the face. I hit him repeatedly till he finally groans and turns over but I don't slow my assault.

"What what?" He groans sitting up and blocking his face from the pillow in my hands raised before I hit him one last time.

"We had a pillow barrier for a reason, ugh!" I groan and storm away from him.

"What I do?" He calls to me.

"You were cuddling me," I argue angrily.

"So?" He sighs slowly sitting on the edge of his bed.

"I thought you were Avery till your thingy started poking me!" I snapped at him digging for my clothes in my bag on his dresser.

"Sorry, you'd think you never saw a penis before," He rolls his eyes.

As he gets to his feet I can see him poking out through his pj pants and I cover my eyes groaning again. "Go and take a cold shower or whatever it is you do to get rid of that thing. Eww!"

"Lesbians I swear they'll use a silicone one but get all queasy at the idea of a real one," He sasses as he walks out of his room standing tall and proud.

"Ew boys," I shiver at the mental image of him cuddling me not even 10 minutes ago.

I gather my stuff and wait for him to get back. I sit on one of his beanbag chairs and play one of Avery's games she downloaded on my phone. I get a mean idea in my head to hide all her games on my phone so she wont find them later. I giggle as I name the folder and put a bunch of useless apps on the front page so she's none the wiser. I'm not mean enough to delete them, I just want to annoy her a little bit today. I deleted her folder that used to hold all her game apps that she not so cleverly named, 'Averys back off!'.

I hear Leo walk back in, so while keeping my head down I walk out of his room and take over his bathroom for my daily morning routine. I brush my teeth, floss and jump in the shower after using the toilet. After my shower I dry off as best I can and do an acne face wash at the sink before getting dressed in a basic pair of leggings and one of Avery's hoodies. At this point I think I have more of her hoodies than she does.

I put a small amount of perfume along with my deodorant before blow drying my hair and brushing it. Luckily by now the mirror is cleared up and I do a fast bit of makeup while checking the time to make sure we're not running late. I make my way back to Leo's room and pack all my stuff away in my overnight bag and grab both my school bag and overnight bag and follow Leo out to his car. We jump in and I steal the aux to continue my playlist exactly where I left off from in the bathroom.

He pulls into a coffee shop and we get breakfast sandwiches and coffees before making our way to school. We speed walk into the school and split towards our separate classes, I head for the art room and make it to my seat just as the bell rings. I sip on my coffee feeling slightly groggy from this morning's abrupt wake up and lack of actual sleep. Leo and I stayed up really late playing zombies in his room. But I hope this coffee helps wake me up a bit. I'm going to need it. I curl up in Averys hoodie and try to stay aware during class but I feel very tired and my brain wanders off most of the time. I didn't even realize the bell rang till I heard someone saying my name in a strange way.
