Sir Leon ran into the throne room where Arthur was. "What is the meaning of this disturbance, Leon?" Arthur asked his knight standing up in worry at the knights disheveled state.

"It's the queen, sire—Odin's men ambushed us and took her." Leon answered and Arthur's hand clenched on the hilt of his sword.

"I give you knights one job, and that is to protect your queen, my wife—and you fail me?" Arthur seethed, "we are to retrieve her straight away, and if I see so much as a scratch on her—I will have Odin's head." Arthur said, "rally the knights, we are to rescue her at once." Arthur ordered and Leon bowed and left the young king alone with his thoughts.

Arthur's anger turned very quickly into sadness and fear; fear for his wife's safety. He sat back down in his throne and stared at the vacant one right next to his own. I'm coming my love, I'll make him pay for taking you! Arthur promised himself, but also you.

Your back leaned up against the stone wall of your cell as you sat fiddling with your fingers. You wiped at your no longer wet cheeks as you had already cried out all your tears hours ago. You hummed a lullaby your mother used to sing to you as you tried not to panic.

You had been taken as leverage by Camelot's sworn enemy, King Odin. Arthur had killed his son and you had a feeling you would be the sacrifice for Arthur. "He killed something I love, I'll kill something he loves." Had been Odin's words once he'd visited you in your cell.

He hadn't stayed long, but long enough. He spat threats at you, Arthur, and Camelot; but you answered with the demeanor of a queen. Yes, you were scared but you would not show weakness in front of him. "You think you've won by kidnapping Camelot's queen, but you're wrong." You say.

Odin had smirked, "oh really, how am I wrong, your majesty?" He asked with a smug bow.

"King Arthur is strong—stronger than you no doubt. You think it wise to make an enemy of Camelot? Because if a war arises—which seems quite likely considering the circumstances—you will fall." You say every ounce of confidence you had left seeping into your words.

"Don't worry my dear, you'll be long dead before then; you won't have to watch your precious Camelot be destroyed." Odin said with a wicked smile before walking from the cell.

You pulled yourself closer to the wall, and curled into a ball. Please find me Arthur! You plead silently as you rock back and forth in prayer.

While you were locked away, Arthur's men came upon Odin's castle. "Search everywhere, the Queen must be found, we will not leave until she is, is that understood!?" Arthur called to his knights.

All of them agreed and rushed into the castle. Odin's men tried to fight back but were quickly taken down. Arthur rushed into the throne room only to find, you being held against Odin with a sword to your neck.

"Odin!" Arthur growled walking closer.

"I wouldn't move closer if I were you, but by all means move closer; I'll kill her before you reach her." Odin threatens. Arthur stopped moving and the two men glared at each other.

"Whatever you want you can have it—just give me my wife." Arthur says trying to bargain with Odin.

"What I want you already took from me—MY SON!" He spat. "I'm just simply returning the favor." He says but before the blade could pierce your neck Odin was thrown away from you by magic.

You ran into Arthur's arms as he comforted you. "Shh! You're safe, you're safe." He repeats running his fingers through your hair. You nestled your head into his chest as he picked you up.

Merlin appeared, "you have my permission to do what you like to him, Merlin." Arthur says giving his manservant the order. Arthur smirked, "but make it hurt." He requests before walking out of the throne room with you.

Because it was one thing to mess with King Arthur, but Odin dug his own grave the moment he messed with his Queen.
