"That servant is never around when you need him." Muttered Amara, the head cook.

You laughed as you glanced over from washing the dishes, "which servant?" You ask her.

"The Prince's servant—Merlin is it?" She asked, "he should have been down to collect his highness's breakfast ages ago." She says, "it'll be cold at this rate!" She snaps annoyed at the servant's lack of punctuality.

You thought for a moment as you dried your hands. "Amara, why don't I just bring it up to the prince? I'm sure he wouldn't mind—that way he'll get his breakfast one way or another." You ask.

"Would you? Thank you, you are a God send, my dear." She says with a smile.

You smile as well, "it would be no problem at all." You say before picking up the tray and walking up to the prince's room. You knocked lightly on the door in case he was still asleep. You didn't hear a reply of no so you entered.

Entering the prince's room for the first time in your life you realized how big it was. Of course you expected nothing less from a prince of Camelot. "Sire?" You call out.

"Ahh Merlin is that you with the breakfast—(Y/N)?!" Arthur shouts after just exiting from his changing area and you immediately shriek and turn around to face the door.

"Forgive me, sire; I did not mean to barge in, I only meant to bring you your breakfast." You apologize, while not able to get the image of the Prince naked out of your head.

Arthur grabs a pillow from his bed to cover himself with, "no need to apologize, it is Merlin that was late, I do not blame you

Arthur grabs a pillow from his bed to cover himself with, "no need to apologize, it is Merlin that was late, I do not blame you." Arthur says and you let out a sigh of relief. He was not mad at you then?

Arthur had grabbed a pair of trousers and pulled them on. "I am decent, you may turn around now." He calls and you do so slowly.

You see the prince still shirtless but now somewhat covered up. You couldn't help but stare at his chest, the females that gossiped in the palace had for once been correct; the prince was certainly something worth staring at.

Arthur noticed your flustered state and flushed cheeks and found your embarrassed state quite adorable. He had seen you around the grounds a few times, and had thought you had looked quite beautiful. He never expected you to ever be in his chambers, and especially see him so exposed.

You were soon snapped out of your staring and you cleared your throat. "Where would you like your breakfast, sire?" You ask him.

"Just place it on the table; thank you for bringing it, but perhaps knock louder next time." He says with a soft chuckle and smile.

"I shall keep that in mind, sire. I hope you enjoy your breakfast." You say with your own awkward smile before walking out the door and letting the door shut behind you.

You let out an awkward sigh, damn you Merlin! Why couldn't you have just been there when your told? Because now you were feeling these feelings in your chest that hadn't been there before, and now you didn't know what to do with them.
