"How do you always manage to get yourself into trouble?" You ask Arthur, just as you patched him up after a fight—just like you'd always done.

Arthur chuckles, "what can I say—the fool said somethings he shouldn't have." Arthur explains.

"Oh yeah, like what?" You ask him pausing your hands for a moment for him to answer.

Arthur's fist clenched remembering what had been said by one of the knights. "When is this patrol going to be over?" Sir Landon complained.

"Why? Do you have a date to get to?" Sir Leon asked. Arthur had stopped to listen to the conversation, slightly intrigued by it.

"As a matter of fact I do." Sir Landon stated smugly.

"What bet did she lose?" Leon stated with a chuckle and the rest of the knights all chuckled, including Arthur.

"Do we know her, Landon?" Arthur asked the knight.

"Yeah, you seem to be around her a great deal—I think her dad's the court physician?" Landon explained.

Arthur halted and whipped his head around in anger, "(y/n)?" He asked the knight with his jaw clenched.

Sir Landon didn't seem to pick up on Arthur's body language, "oh is that her name? There's so many I can't seem to remember; she is a pretty little thing though." Landon comments, "from what she wears, she looks like she's just asking for it."

"Shut Up! JUST SHUT UP!" Arthur growled at the knight. If Arthur's eyes could change color he knew they would be blood red. He had pushed Sir Landon up against a tree and held his collar in his fist. "I should run you through where you stand." Arthur said pulling out his sword and actually pointing it at the knight's chest. "You're a poor excuse for a knight and a man." Arthur said inching his blade closer. "There is no honor, no discipline, no humility behind your eyes, you're a joke of a knight." Arthur seethed.

"Why so hostile? It's not like she's a noble woman." Landon states and that's when Arthur loses it. He throws his sword aside and punches him in the nose.

"Death is too kind for you." He mutters before he beats up the knight for talking about you like an object.

It had taken 4 knights to pull Arthur off of Landon. By the end of the one-sided fight Arthur's knuckles were bloody and bruised which is how he found himself in the care of the pretty physician.

"It doesn't matter what he said." He tells you.

"Well considering how it earned you looking like your fists went toe to toe with a stone wall, I'd say they must have said something that pissed you off." You inquire.

"Oh they did, and my anger was deserved, believe me." Arthur admits.

"I don't doubt it," you admit just as your hair had fallen out of your updo and spilled into your face as you worked. Arthur had used the hand you had wrapped previously and brushed the hair out of your face.

You could feel your cheeks warm from the gentle contact of his hand. You fasten the remaining bandage before looking up into his blue eyes. "If they begin to hurt or bleed through come get me or my father, alright?" You say giving him the medical advice.

He smiles at you, "thank you for fixing me up, little Gaius." He teases with the nickname he knew you had always hated.

"Call me that again, sire and I won't hesitate to break your arm." You threaten before packing away your bandages.

"No you won't, you like me too much." He insists.

You turn around and stare at him, cocking your head. "Oh is that a fact, sire?" You ask coyly.
