Jungkook's pov
I searched the stadium for Y/n, but she was nowhere to be found. I felt anxious because she had been down all day, missing her parents badly. I wanted to help her feel better, but I couldn't fully understand what it's like to succeed without family around to share in the pride.
I saw her last when I was chatting with Ms. Yoon. We were sharing jokes and she was laughing so much. I really admire her, but not as much as Y/n. Y/n is the most beautiful, kind, and talented woman I've ever met, and I don't want her to leave my life.
I noticed she was walking towards me, but then she suddenly stopped and walked away. I'm not sure why, but I did see tears in her eyes before she left and now I feel really worried.
I went to the hyungs and the staff members to ask about her.
"HYUNG HYUNG!" I shouted, and Jin hyung shot me an irritated glance. "What happened Jungkook? Why are you shouting like the world is going to end now?" he grumbled.
Ignoring his annoyance, I blurted out, "Have any of you seen Y/n? I've looked everywhere in the stadium, but she's nowhere to be found."
"What? We last saw her when we were heading to our rooms to rest and prepare. We don't know where she went" Rm Hyung said and everyone nodded, concern etched on everyone's faces.
"Have you tried calling her?" Jimin Hyung suggested, getting up from his seat.
I fumbled for my phone and dialled her number, the anxiety mounting with each ring. But there was no answer.
"Her phone's ringing here," one of the staff members informed us, handing over her phone. I ended the call, frustration bubbling up. "Then where could she be?"
"Maybe she stepped out of the stadium," Taehyung suggested, and we all nodded, hope mingling with worry. "Let's go check."I dashed out of the stadium, my heart pounding, only to freeze in my tracks as I spotted Y/n walking in.
As she approached, I noticed her red, swollen eyes. I hurried over and embraced her tightly, expressing my concern. "Where did you go without telling anyone? You know how worried I was. Thank goodness nothing happened to you."
"I'm okay, Jungkook. Let me go. I need to get ready for the concert," she said, gently pushing me away, forcing a small smile before walking off. I sighed and returned to the other preparations as ARMYs began to gather as well.
Y/n's pov
I have to stay strong People out here are in danger, and I need to protect them from this monster. But it hurts to know that they only care about using me for fame. Still, I can't just walk away and let them suffer. For many, these people are everything, their whole world. I can't break millions of hearts just because mine is already shattered. Instead of healing, it feels like it's breaking even more.
I sighed sadly as the hair stylist noticed my downcast expression. "Y/n, are you alright?" she asked gently. "It's your first concert; you should be happy. What's wrong, sweetie?" She was always so caring, like an older sister to me, and I really appreciated her kindness.
I gave her a fake smile and said, "Oh, it's nothing, Eonni. I was just thinking about my parents, I wa-" Before I could finish, she interrupted, "They would be so proud of you, wherever they are. Trust me." Her words comforted me. I smiled and hugged her, saying, "Thanks, Eonni."
"Now, smile and go get dressed for the concert. Light up the stage!" She gave me a thumbs-up and walked away. I couldn't help but chuckle at her enthusiasm before heading to put on my outfit for the show.
