Y/n's Pov

It was time to meet Karan, and I already had an excuse ready in case anyone asked where I was going.

I sighed and took one last look at my face in the mirror before heading downstairs. Everyone was busy with their usual tasks, but Jungkook and Tae were both staring at me, clearly waiting for me to arrive.

As soon as I reached the floor, Jungkook bombarded me with questions, grabbing everyone's attention. I had already prepared my answers, so I responded quickly. However, he kept asking more questions. I answered confidently but started to get annoyed by his persistence. 

Jimin must have noticed because he gave me permission to leave. Even if he hadn't, I would have left anyway. I rolled my eyes as I walked out, giving Jungkook a disappointed look.

I decided to go there while walking so i wore a mask so that no one would notice me, I was pretty annoyed by Jungkook behaviour nowadays, he behaves as if he possessed me and always give me orders, I don't know what is his problem, I scoffed thinking about him.

Meeting Karan right now makes me really happy. He's always been there for me when things get tough, and just thinking about him brings a smile to my face. I wouldn't say I've fallen for him, but I really appreciate his support through the ups and downs.

He's the greatest birthday present ever! Thank you, God, for bringing him into my life. Just thinking about him makes me giggle.

As I was walking, I sensed someone following me. When I glanced back, I saw two people who looked suspicious. I stopped and locked eyes with one of them. His doe-like eyes seemed familiar, but I couldn't remember where I'd seen them before because he was wearing a mask and a bucket hat.

I didn't care to remember him as he walked away. I sighed in relief, glad he wasn't stalking me. Just as I was about to move, I noticed a man on his phone and his child wandering towards the road.

I yelled "Excuse me!" but he didn't hear me, probably because I was too far away. I saw the child about to cross the road, so I quickly ran over and pulled him back just in time. I returned him to his father and then continued on my way.

Soon I reached the alley from which I could go to the place where we were supposed to meet. There was no one just me and two of the guys behind me, I didn't looked behind to see their face but i had a gut feeling that it was those two people whom I thought was following me.

I felt scared when Karan said no one usually comes here. But then I saw him coming out of the alley. I felt so relieved as he smiled and hugged me tightly.

I broke the hug and whispered, "Karan, someone is following me." He nodded, then suddenly kissed me on the cheek. I blushed and stared at him in surprise. "Don't worry," he said. "Just hold my hand and run as fast as you can to the portal, okay?" I nodded and gripped his hand, ready to run.

I ran, holding his hands toward the portal, not daring to look back. Fearful they would catch us entering it, we rushed through the portal, which shut behind us the moment we entered.

I was breathing heavily due to running that I didn't notice that this wasn't the place where we were going to meet, it was some different but beautifully decorated place.

"Did you like the place?" he asked with a smile. I looked up, wide-eyed, and asked, "Where are we?" He smiled and reached out his hands. I hesitated for a moment but then placed my hands in his, letting him lead me.

He led me to a chair and table sprinkled with rose petals. As I sat down, I wondered, "Is he going to propose?" I watched him closely, waiting to see what he would do next.
