As I stood frozen, my eyes locked onto the balcony, I couldn't seem to tear my gaze away. My breath felt heavier with each passing second. Karan had just threatened me—he wanted me to leave BTS immediately. 

The words Yullie had told me earlier echoed in my mind, confirming my worst fear. Karan had killed my father. My body trembled as I stared at the balcony, my mind racing.

Suddenly, a soft knock at the door snapped me out of my thoughts. I jumped slightly, startled. When I turned around, Jimin's worried face peeked through a small crack in the door.

"Are you okay, Chimp?" he asked gently, his concern clear. I met his eyes and gave a small nod, trying to steady my breathing. "You look scared... is everything alright? I heard you shouting from your room," he said, stepping inside.

I forced a smile onto my face, hoping it would hide the fear twisting inside me. "I'm fine, Oppa. Don't worry," I lied. "I just saw a cockroach and accidentally stepped on it." Jimin raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Since when did you start getting scared of cockroaches?" he asked, pouting slightly.

I laughed softly and shrugged, trying to play along. He seemed to relax a bit, but before I could say anything more, he sighed.

"Well, I'm heading to Hybe. There's some kind of problem they need me for," he explained.I frowned, feeling a sense of unease. "What problem? I'll come with you," I offered, not wanting to be left alone with my swirling thoughts.

Jimin shook his head firmly. "I'm not sure what it is, but you should stay here and rest. You look exhausted."

"But—" I started to protest, but he cut me off. "No buts," he said gently but firmly, reaching out to caress my cheek. "Just rest, okay? We'll be back soon."

I nodded, knowing there was no point in arguing with him. As he left, I sighed and sat down on my bed, my eyes drifting to the framed group photo on the nightstand. I picked it up carefully, staring at the smiling faces of my members.

"No matter what happens," I whispered to myself, my heart heavy, "I'll never leave you all. I'll protect you all... even if it costs me my life."

I let out a deep sigh and laid down on my bed, closing my eyes as I tried to relax. 

After what felt like only a few moments, I was startled awake by a soft noise. I glanced over at the clock and realized it was already midnight. Rubbing my eyes, I sat up, feeling a little disoriented, and started walking towards the door. Just as I reached out to open it, the door swung open from the other side. Standing there, with a familiar smile, was none other than Jungkook.

"How's my sweetheart doing?" he asked softly, his voice gentle as he stepped closer. His warm hand cupped my cheek, gently caressing my skin. "Did I wake you up?"

I shook my head, managing a small smile. "I'm actually glad you did," I said, feeling a sense of relief wash over me.

"Oh, really?" he teased, a playful smirk on his lips as he set a bag down on the table and pulled me into a tight hug. As he closed the door behind him with his foot, he held me close, his embrace comforting. "Are you okay, Jagi?" he asked, concern creeping into his voice. "Jimin told me that before he left, you seemed really scared. Is something bothering you?"

His hand was back on my cheek, stroking it gently as his eyes searched mine. I broke the hug, turning away from him, unable to meet his gaze. "I-I..." I stammered, unsure of how to answer. His fingers softly touched my chin, guiding my face back to look at him. Our eyes locked, and I could feel the sadness and worry reflected in mine.

"I'm just... a little sad, that's all," I finally admitted with a sigh. "Why?" he asked, his brow furrowing in genuine concern.

I couldn't tell him the real reason—about Karan threatening me to leave Jungkook. I had to lie again. "I was just thinking... what if I lose control of my powers and accidentally hurt you?"

He frowned slightly, his eyes still filled with concern. "Really?" he asked, not quite convinced. I nodded, avoiding his gaze.

Without another word, he gently guided me back to the bed, pulling me close as we lay down. Snuggling into me, he whispered, "It's okay. Even if you did hurt me, I wouldn't mind. I'd be happy to take it."

I blinked in surprise, letting out a small chuckle. "What?"

"I mean it," he said, his voice soft but serious. "You don't have to worry about hurting me. I know you would never intentionally harm me or anyone else. So, stop worrying, okay? Now, come on, give me a kiss."

He pointed at his lips, pouting playfully. I couldn't help but laugh and leaned in, giving him a soft peck. But he wasn't satisfied. "Hey!" he said, pretending to be upset. "You can't just get away with a peck. I want a real kiss. Let me show you how it's done."

Before I could respond, he hovered over me and pressed his lips to mine. The kiss wasn't rushed or filled with passion, but rather slow and comforting, the kind of kiss that said everything without needing words. We were both exhausted from the events of the day, and after what felt like minutes, we pulled away, breathing heavily.

Jungkook brushed a strand of hair away from my face, his eyes soft. "Goodnight, love," he whispered, his voice soothing.

"Goodnight," I replied, feeling my eyes grow heavy as I slowly drifted off to sleep in his arms.
