A mini Break

Buckys pov

I had an idea. I needed to speak to Tony. Rose is still suffering from the nightmare/flashback from the previous week. She's become even more withdrawn where she won't leave our room. 'I'm scared Jamie' Rose tells me 'why doll?' I ask gently as she lays in my arms. 'They will get me. Make me do it all again. I don't want to James. I want the nightmares to stop' she says.

'Tony, could I ask you something?' I ask Tony. 'Of course Bucky. How can I help' he replies. 'Would it be possible if I could take Rose away this week for a mini break?' I ask  'last week she had a very bad flashback and is still trying to recover from it. I think a break might help' I say. Tony stands there as he processes what I just told him, 'of course you can.' He smiles 'you can even stay in mine and peppers cabin.' He adds 'it's secluded and away from anyone else. No one will go near it, there's even a lake' he adds. 'Thank you tony' I smile. 'I'll contact may to tell her that Rose isn't feeling well so won't be able to do her tutoring this week' Tony replies. 'Thank you Tony' I smile, 'your welcome Bucky. Enjoy your break' he smiles 'if you send me a list of what food you want I can get it ordered for you so it will be there for when you arrive, or you can go to the shop, up to you' tony says 'thank you Tony. I might send you a list of a few items' I smile. 'The guest room is first left as you enter' he smiles dropping some keys into my hand.

Walking up to our room I begin to pack some clothes. I lift down our bags down placing them on the bed, I sort out some clothes I want to bring including a smart top and trousers as I want to do a date night one night. I pack my swim trunks and Rose's swim outfit putting it in out small swim bag with towels and arm bands for Rose. I begin to pack some clothes for Rose including a dress and another outfits for date night so she could choose.

Once the clothes were all packed I zipped up the bag before packing our toiletries, my laptop and leads. Our phone chargers, some books including one which I read to Rose at night. I move into our kitchenette packing the picnic basket with snacks and drinks for the journey and until we go shopping.

Rose's pov

I walk into our bedroom after going through some practice papers. On our bed are some bags 'hey doll' James says walking in from the living space 'hey Jamie, whats all this?' I ask. Smiling James walks over wrapping his arms around me 'I'm taking you away for the week'  he smiles 'but what about my lessons?' I ask. 'Tony sorted it' he replies. 'Where are we going?'  I ask James 'it's a suprise, everything's packed. We just need to head down to the car' he smiles, 'but papa and Stevie?' I ask 'I'll send them a message so they know where we are' James smiles 'we need this break doll' James smiles.

'Go get yourself ready, I'll take the bags down' James smiles 'I love you doll' James smiles 'I love you too Jamie' I smile back. James hugs me before picking up the bags carrying them down to his car.

Buckys pov

After taking the bags to the car I walk back to our room 'Buck?' 'Oh hey Steve' I smile 'what are your plans for later?' He asks 'erm,' I begin how do I tell him 'what's wrong pal?' Steve asks. I sit down on one of the sofas 'I'm not going to be here, I'm going away for the week with Rose' I say looking down. 'You both deserve a break' Steve says 'im scared' I say 'why?' Steve asks, 'it the first time in a long time that it's just the two of us' I reply 'you know you can always call me buck, clint too' Steve says.

'Where's Rose?' Steve asks 'up in our room getting ready' I smile 'go see her' Steve smiles pushing me towards the stairs smiling. 'Enjoy your break' he smiles 'thanks punk' I smile 'jerk' Steve smiles back. 'Hey doll' I smile walking in 'you look stunning' I add 'thanks Jamie' Rose smiles. 'Ready doll?' I ask holding out my hand 'I am thanks Jamie' Rose smiles taking my hand.

'Where are we going?' Rose asks as we sit in the car 'it's a suprise doll' I smile. 'Okay' Rose yawns 'are you tired doll?' I ask 'yeah' Rose yawns 'have a rest doll' I smile placing my hand on her leg. Looking over I smile seeing Rose asleep with her head against the door.
