It's been a busy few weeks of back to back missions, the bed felt empty without Rose asleep next to me. We had messaged and video called, Clint and I both video called Rose and Laura together. Laura had told us Rose is doing well with her reading and writing, Clint has had some time between missions when he went to see them coming back with a box of baked treats for each of us as Laura has been teaching Rose to bake. One week it was biscuits anouther it was cakes, I always saved some for when she came home.

I'm currently on video call with Rose, she's currently wearing an apron with flour in her hair. 'Hey Doll' I smile 'hi Jamie' she smiles back 'I've missed you' she says 'I've missed you too Doll, So much. I can't wait to see you again and give you a big hug and lots of kisses' I smile. Its true I have missed her. Our separation anxiety is getting better, if we video call each other when we are apart it help. 'Only a few more days' I tell Rose smiling. 'What have you been doing this week?'  I ask, 'mamas been helping me with my lessons, we've been baking and been doing some reading' Rose tells me. 'I'd love to hear your reading' I smile 'I'll read to you when we are both home, we can cuddle on the sofa or in bed' Rose says. 'How's papa?' Rose asks me 'he's doing well, he misses you and can't wait to see you again' I tell Rose. 'We are currently on separate missions' I inform Rose, we continue chatting for another 30mins before saying goodbye.

I'm home from the mission, heading up to our room after debrief and writing our report I realise how untidy it is. The laundry basket is full and overflowing due to the back to back missions, I begin sorting the out into piles carrying them down to the laundry room to put them in for a wash. 

Whilst the washing is being done I tidy up our bedroom and living space before both bathrooms. I checked Rose's snack cupboard realising it needs refilling I make a list of what she has, I add more to the list. I add things for a night in together.

I decided to send Clint a message. 'Hey Clint, I'm popping to the shops before we see our girls, you need anything?'. Whilst waiting for a reply I finish off my washing putting it away, I'm going to change the bedding before we go to them so it's all clean, I would get the movie night hamper set up on our bed for when we get back. It's handy as all of our rooms have keys to them so that if we are away we can lock our rooms. Steve and Clint have a set of our keys incase of need and in an emergency.  My phone bleeped notifying me of message, I see its from Clint 'hey Bucky, yes please. Could you pick up some flowers for Laura and some chocolates for the kids. We should be back tomorrow and then we can see our girls, see you soon Clint'.

I grab some shopping bags before heading downstairs to my car, I soon arrive at the shop after a short drive. I soon pick up all of the items, whilst I was walking round I spotted a blanket that was so soft. Looking at the sizes I find the largest size so that Rose and I can wrap it round us both I also pick up some smaller ones if we just want one for ourselves.

I arrive back, as I'm getting the bags out of the boot, I see Steve coming back from a run. 'Hey pal' he smiles 'hey punk' I smile back 'been shopping?' He asks peering into the boot, 'yeah. Been getting some bits in ready for when Rose come home, also some bits for clint' I tell him. 'Would you like some help?' Steve offers, 'I'd be greatful, thanks steve' I smile. We both take some bags and I carry the box which has the flowers in walking up to our living room.
