Secret Santa

Rose pov

'Right everyone' Tony calls 'livingroom tonight' he adds. I had spent the day doing some revision as my tests are this week. Yesterday papa came back from visiting Mama. Lila and Cooper gave us a Christmas present which was a picture of us all, James hug the picture on our wall in the livingroom. 'What do you think doll?' James asks wrapping his arms around my waist with his chin on my shoulder 'perfect' I smile turning so I'm was facing him.

'ROSE' I head James call 'yeah' I call back 'want a drink' 'sure' I reply. It wasn't long until a drink was placed on the table beside me, 'how are you feeling about the tests?' James asks sitting beside me 'nervous' I reply turning to look at him, 'you will do well doll, I believe in you' he smiles.

Later that day everyone was sat in the livingroom, 'what's all this about Tony' Sam asks 'I'm glad you asked Sam' Tony smiles. 'We are doing an avenger secret santa.' He adds 'budget $50, no telling anyone who you get.' Tony explains 'Rose you go first' he says picking up a box walking over to me. I pick out a piece of paper before Tony walks round to everyone. 'You have a week' Tony says. 'You are dismissed'.

Standing up I leave heading up to James and I room. 'Doll?' I hear James call out. I had read the name, being unsure and panicking I locked myself in our safe space. 'Doll where are you?' James calls.

I see James move into our safe space where I am sat 'oh doll' he says softly sitting beside me. 'What's wrong?' He asks 'I don't know what to get for them' I reply. 'Maybe I could help?' James asks 'but Tony said not to tell anyone' I reply looking at him, 'I won't say'  he smiles 'okay' I reply softly. I pass him the paper 'it's okay doll, I'll help you get something for him. Tony didn't say it had too be good' James says 'how about bird food?' He asks smiling 'why?' I ask 'because he's the falcon' James replies still smiling, 'I like it' I smile. 

Bucky and I leave our room, we pass Steve and Papa in the living room, 'How are you Rosie?' Papa asks 'I'm Okay, I guess' I sigh 'I'm taking Rose shopping, we are going to get our secret santa gifts' James smiles. 'But we are not allowed to let anyone know who we had?' Steve asks 'Rose didn't know what to get them, I offered to help find them  gift' James replies, 'Okay, take care both of you' Steve smiles. 

'I think he would like it' I smile as we sit on the floor in our living room wrapping his gift, I begin to feel a bit tired, I think James picked up on it, 'Why don't you have a nap doll' he asks 'yeah okay' I smile yawning. I walk into our bedroom collapsing on the bed falling asleep. 

Bucky's Pov

Rose and I went out  to get her secret Santa gift for Sam, I think he would like it. I also got Steve's gift whilst I was out. As I could see Rose beginning to look tired I suggested she had a nap, I went to check on Rose to find her laying across the bed, I carefully adjust her position covering  her with one of our blankets before quietly pulling the door to. Whilst she was sleeping I began to wrap Steve's gift ready for the party tonight.

After wrapping Steve's secret Santa gift I place it by the door with Rose's for Steve I quietly walk into our bedroom, across to our walk-in wardrobe getting a smartish shirt and trousers out ready for the party. The party  tonight is a small one with just the avengers. 'Jamie?' I hear Rose say, pocking my head out of the door I see Rose sitting up rubbing her eyes, 'I'm here Doll' I smile, 'I'm just getting my clothes ready' I reply, 'Okay, I don't know what I should wear' Rose says, 'Just wear what you are comfortable in' I smile. 

Walking over to Rose I sit on the bed, Rose leans into me as I wrap an arm around her, 'You are doing so well Doll' I smile kissing the top of her head. 'If you need a break just let me know' I say softly, 'or you can talk to Papa'  I add.

                                                                   ~ The Party~

Rose and I head downstairs to the communal living room, we had to put the secret santa gifts in the small meeting room before they all get brought into the living room. 'You go sit and I will drop these off' I smile at Rose kissing the side of her head. I watch as she walks over to Steve, cuddling up to him, Some people who don't understand their connection would think I would be jealous or protective. I am protective of Rose but I trust Steve with my life, always have. I know Steve wouldn't hurt Rose, He cares for her, He too is protective of him. They are like each others siblings, seeing them together makes me happy. 

Rose's Pov

I walk over to Steve, 'Hey Rosie' he smiles opening his arms, 'I'm doing okay, thanks Stevie' I smile up at him as we cuddle on the sofa. 'You do know i'm always here for you' he says softly, 'I do, I am grateful Steve' I smile. 'Hey Buck' I turn to see James has joined us on the sofa, 'hey Steve' he smiles. 

'Everyone here?' Tony calls out walking into the living room. 'Right everyone go to the meeting room and find your secret santa gift, bring it back here' Tony says. 'Do not open it yet' he add. Everyone begins to rush to the meeting room eager to find their gift. I walk with Steve and James to get our gifts. I find a wrapped gift with my name on, going to pick it up James stops be, 'i'll get it for you' He smiles picking up both of our gifts. When we reach the living room everyone is sat round, Steve had saved our spots on the sofa. 

'Who's first?' Scott asks 'We will start with Clint' Tony says. Papa opens his first and he got given a new set of arrows 'Thank you' he smiles. Everyone took their turn until it reached Sam. I watch as he opens the smaller gift first, 'Bird seed?' he asks, Sam then opens the next gift to reveal the  two bird tables I had got him. 'Thanks' he smiles. Steve opened his gift from James, inside his gift was a set of oil pastils and watercolour paint, 'Thanks' he smiles. 

It soon Came to my turn, unwrapping the paper I find a wicker hamper, on opening it I see its full of my favourite snacks and treats with some new films, 'Enjoy a movie night on me  :)' the tag read. 'Thank you, I'm going to enjoy this' I smile. James opened his gift to reveal a telescope. 'Wow thank you' he smiles, 'I'm going to enjoy this' he adds still smiling. 

We all found out who gave our gifts, 'Thank you Rose' Sam smiles, 'Thats okay Sam, thought you might  enjoy it, your nephews too' I smile 'I thought you could have one here and one back at home.' I add, 'We will, thank you' Sam replies smiling hugging me. 'What are you and Buck doing for Christmas?' he asks, 'we are going back home with Papa. Spend Christmas with the family' I smile. 'I hope you both have a lovely break, I have something for you both so I will drop it round to you before you go' Sam smiles, 'Thanks Sam' I smile. 

Leaving Sam I walk over to Steve, 'Thank you Steve for the lovely gift' I smile, 'It was very thoughtful of you' I add still smiling. 'Your welcome Rosie, I thought you would enjoy it. You could even share it with Buck' Steve replies smiling. 'I will, we both do like our movie nights' I smile. 'Are you going to spend Christmas with your family?' Steve asks me, I look over to James who is talking to Papa. 'We are, I'm looking forward to it but slightly nervous' I reply 'You will have a lovely time Rose' Steve smiles, 'Its just that its my first one since I got taken, its papa's and mama's with me too. Its just that I don't want to ruin it' I sigh. 'You won't  ruin it Rosebud' I turn to see Papa with us, 'Papa's right doll' I feel James wrap his arms around my waist, 'Cooper and Lila have ask when you are both next coming to visit, they even asked if you we coming for Christmas' Papa says. 'I'm scared Papa' I say, 'All will be well Doll. If you need to have some time to yourself just let Papa, Mama or I know' James smiles at me. 'Thank you' I say softly smiling at them all.
