🎶and I tried to hide it, but you are racing through my mind I can't deny it🎶

"We'll allow the trucks to enter from this point, and then our associates in border security will take over, ensuring a smooth transition." One of my capos stepped forward, representing the team. I watched as the plan was displayed on the projector screen, my mind already thinking several steps ahead. "I mean, the manager is an associate," I clarified, my gaze sweeping the room.
I turned to face the person who had spoken up, my eyes locking onto theirs. "What if they decide to inspect the trucks? What happens then?" I asked, my voice firm but measured.
"The trucks are among those being escorted to the bank," the capo responded, his voice steady.
I nodded thoughtfully, impressed by the strategy. "Clever. But are there associates I don't know about?" I asked, my eyes narrowing slightly.
The capo hesitated, his uncertainty palpable. "I'm not so sure about that, sir."
I nodded curtly, my mind racing with possibilities. I turned to face the person responsible for gathering intel on the kyawthuite mineral, my eyes narrowing. "You couldn't deliver, despite my explicit instructions?" I asked, my voice firm and commanding.
"Well. It... "
I interrupted, "...is that an excuse, soldier?" I raised an eyebrow, my tone firm but controlled. "I'll take care of it." I tilted my lip, a hint of a smile playing on my face. "Looks like we won't be needing your services anymore." The unspoken threat hung in the air, and I knew they understood the implications. No one was ever "fired" in the mafia. "But I'll give you another chance. Have it on my desk next week, understood?"
"Ye'sir," he replied, his voice laced with relief.
My phone started to vibrate indicating an incoming call, so I answered the, my earbuds transmitting the sultry voice on the other end. "Yes?"
"Ah, that voice makes me horny," she purred, her tone husky and seductive. I coughed awkwardly, my eyes darting around the room as the others watched with interest. "Let me hear you talk again. Why are you quiet?" she teased, her voice laced with a lazy, drunken drawl. "Did I ever tell you how horny I...gosh, you're so sexy." She sighed, her words trailing off. "I miss you."
My eyes widened in surprise, my mind racing to process the unexpected turn in the conversation. How did she even get my business line?
"I think we've covered enough ground for today," I declared, bringing the meeting to a close. "We can pick up where we left off another time." No explanations necessary; my word was law.
As I stepped out of the building, my phone came alive in my hand. "I was thinking about you," she slurred, her voice husky and suggestive. "I had the most incredible wet dream about you..." My chuckle echoed through the night air as I slid into my car. "You're really sharing this with me?" I teased, intrigued despite myself. "You must have been thoroughly preoccupied with me."
The background din of music and laughter hinted at a party in full swing. Miles' party, no doubt. He was the life of the party, always. Me? I avoided crowded spaces like the plague. The thought of sweaty bodies and drunken stumbling made my skin crawl. "You're at a party, huh?" I said, my tone dry. "Not exactly your scene, is it?"
Her response was languid, her words slurred. "It's not the same without you...I'm wearing something short. Wish you could see me." I raised an eyebrow, a smile playing on my lips.
I told you she was a bad girl.
I started the engine and pulled away from the curb, her voice still husky in my ear. "Did you wear that dress for me?" I asked, a hint of amusement in my tone.
