Battle of the Ghouls

At the center of the stage, the figure of Lara Tybur's Titan loomed ominously at Joseph, standing firm at the center of the stage in front of her, with his spring Kagune ready to utilize. Not wasting any second, the Warhammer Titan raised its right arm, wielding the spring-like blade of Kagune with lethal intent aimed directly at Joseph. The blade surged forth, obliterating any remnants of the stage in its path. However, Joseph was brisk enough to evade the attack: as he leapt through the air, he landed on the blade after it penetrated the ground and began to run up the now extended spring cutting the Titans hardening all along the way with one of his Kakuja claws.

At the same time, both the Attack and Female Titans charged in from the sides, both hardening their fists and anticipating the moment they will be close to the Warhammer Titan to land the hit. However, Lara did anticipate it, and the next moment, a huge Hardening spike emerged from the ground, piercing the Attack Titan at his torso. As both Joseph and Annie looked back at their friend with horror, the Warhammer Titan retracted its blade with startling speed, and with a deft maneuver, it sent Joseph tumbling and landing him atop a nearby, still-standing building. Meanwhile, as Annie focused back to her opponent and continued to close the distance between two, Lara's Titan turned directly to Annie and sent another spring blade at the Female Titan. The former Warrior swiftly dodged the attack and hardened the fists before delivering a direct hit on the Titan's head. As she continued to target its head and torso, the Warhammer concentrated its power on its right hand, where the huge Hardened glow had formed. As Annie noticed the upcoming attack, she retracted her arms to block it. The hit sent her back for a few meters, but Annie's Titan barely took much damage. However, right before she was about to launch the next attack, two medium-sized spikes emerged, cutting through the Female titan's chest.

With two Titan shifters now temporarily immobilized, the last Tybur was about to turn to her family's slayer. However, she felt some presence at the back of her Titan. As the great white beast turned around to assess the situation, it suddenly felt its nape's Hardening flesh being ripped apart piece by piece. It dawned on Lara in that moment: while she was preoccupied with the Titan Shifters, Joseph had flung himself onto her Titan's back, his Kakuja and Nails tearing through the hardened skin of the Titan's nape.

Reacting swiftly, the Warhammer Titan reached behind her back in an attempt to grab hold of him. Meanwhile, Annie used all her strength to get free of the spikes, and as she finally removed herself from it, she once again surged forward, leading with a hardened fist, aimed directly at the Warhammer Titan's face. Understanding that she had only a fleeting moment to act before Joseph reached her nape, Lara formed a cross with her arms and braced herself for the onslaught. In rapid succession, she found herself grappling with both a bloodthirsty ghoul on her back and the relentless barrage of blows from the treacherous Eldian.

As she was thinking of the way to counterattack, her Titan's eyes widened as she saw that Attack Titan was also approaching her, with the edge of the Hardening spike still in his torso. Thinking of the decision to make in the next few seconds before being completely overwhelmed by the enemy, the Warhammer Titan's eyes glowed for a second. Before Annie could prepare herself, both she and Eren were immobilized by dozens of white spikes that erupted from the ground. The unsuspecting Titans were impaled in multiple places by the garden of spikes, leaving them unable to help their friend in the battle.

Taking a glance at his friends, the white-haired ghoul wasted no time and sent his Kakuja right at the nape to rip apart its last piece. He had prepared his razor-sharp nails, ready to sunder the last of Tybur's body.

However, when he looked at the now exposed nape, it was empty, with no Shifter in there. Joseph's confidence drifted into confusion. The next second, he saw the glowing light from the opponent's eyes. The confusion now turned into horror as he quickly jumped off the nape before spikes emerging from it could hit him.
