The Rumbling

Across the ocean, Joseph, in his enormous Founding Titan form, along with his army of Colossal Titans, marched relentlessly on the seafloor towards Marley's coastline. A mountain of steam billowed from the water, towering into the sky like a beacon of death, betraying their ominous advance. Awaiting them, a massive multinational Naval armada, composed of nearly every warship in the world, guarding Marley's shores with a grim determination.

Joseph: You gathered all your navies? Did you truly think you could stop me? Fools, nothing can halt my advance. But why complain? This gives me a chance to demonstrate my power before I even set foot on land.

As soon as Joseph came within range, the entire fleet opened fire simultaneously, their guns unleashing a ferocious barrage.

The sky lit up as if the stars were falling. A wall of blazing hot steel, lead, and high explosives soared above the waves. The shells gleamed and shimmered in the sunlight, accompanied by a terrifying whistle as they plunged towards the water.

There were so many shells in the air Joseph couldn't even count them. Hundreds maybe, possibly even thousands, as far as Joseph was concerned it could have been a million, it made no difference.

The massive bombardment hit the surface hard, creating a whirlwind of explosions and destruction. But Joseph's Titans were barely affected, few were hit, fewer still were even killed. Before the fleet could even reload for a second salvo Joseph was upon them.

The sailors on the ships got one second to look at the incoming wall of molten hot steam coming towards them. While some ships tried to fire more it was no use. The steam made contact and immediately melted the ship's frame. Everyone inside and on the desks was boiled alive in mere moments with skin disintegrating from their skeletons. Anyone somehow alive died in the next hit.

Joseph and his Colossal Titans crashed into the fleet with the force of ten thousand tidal waves. Ships not immediately obliterated were ignited by the scorching temperature. Those that didn't sink beneath the searing waves were hurled a hundred meters into the air, only to split in half or explode upon contact with the Titans.

The remaining sailors were instantly incinerated, soon followed by their steel vessels. Explosions lit up the sky like a grotesque fireworks display, punctuated by faint screams of death. Each flash of destruction was visible from the shore, where an enormous multinational army manned shore batteries and artillery. The sight of the warships' annihilation sent shockwaves of suffocating fear through their ranks.

Joseph's Titans soon emerged from the water and began to receive scattered and redundant fire. Then the Titans finally took their first steps on shore and revealed their terrifying presence to the soldiers, the coastal town, and the world. Now the soldiers manning the guns had no more hope, they knew full well there was no way they could stop the thousands of Titans and began to run. The Titans quickly made their way in land and crushed buildings, roads, cars, factories, and the city's port like it was nothing. Leaving only total destruction, twisted metal, crumbled stone and brick, shattered glass, and anything else was simply melted down by the steam.

Screams from those unlucky soldiers and some civilians that had not left could be briefly heard before they were silenced by a Colossal foot without hesitation or mercy. Even those that ran at full speed, tried to use a car, or even a horse to make a last second desperate escape were crushed and killed. Only small spots of blood were what remained, and even those soon evaporated into nothingness thanks to the steam.

It was then that Joseph's founding Titan came onto land behind his Colossal Titans leading them. He stood a staggering 400 meters and his huge and scary Kakuja flowed around him like malevolent waves. His deep black and blood red left eye stood out like a warning and beacon of death. The white armor plating shifted with his muscles and body with every step he took. Anyone looking at him would think he was an invincible force as he continued his march.
