An aura of uncertainty surrounded the small group, everyone knew that these next few minutes would determine everything, including their lives. They attempted to try and just focus on a few things to distract themselves. Their boots stomping on the ground made for the best substitute for their attention, the small breeze helped a little. However it felt as though their adams apple was shriveled and almost acting as a barrier for air. The sun beating down and them, it seemed to almost be cooking them alive. This really made them sweat, now unsure if the majority came from the heat or their nerves.

Peering upwards, Nanaba put her hand flat over her forehead to create impromptu shadows over her eyes. For a second she could understand their situation, the early morning sun seemed to be dead focused on them. The moon, still visible, seemed to be right next to it, almost teasing her with its sweet promise of cool. Quickly she looked back down, trying to ignore the blazing sun.

Nanaba: Can't you give us a break for once?

Despite it all they kept walking with herself, Gelgar, Eren, and Annie.

Eren: Why is that whenever we go beyond the walls it's hot as hell but whenever we stay in it's cold?

Gelgar being Gelgar took a swig from his flask. This time he knew there was a real possibility it could be his last so it was extra big. At least the vodka was cool enough. Eren meanwhile dealt with it by wiping the sweat from his brow and putting his hood up to try and shield himself. He quickly put it back down, remembering that their faces need to be clearly visible.

Pieck: At least you can whip yourself off. I'm going to ruin my favorite shirt's collar.

Pieck tugged at the handcuffs connecting her wrists behind her back, locked tight to ensure there were no doubts about their strength.

Annie: You agreed to this idea.

Pieck: Doesn't mean I agreed to not complain.

Gelgar: Well maybe you shouldn't, prisoners aren't known to be mouthy ones.

She stuck her tongue out at him as a sort of mocking response before her General, also in handcuffs, got her in line.

Magath: He's right, Pieck, act like you have low morale. A defeated soldier's head should hang low. That goes for you as well, Braun and Gillard.

His other warriors did exactly as told. With their hands bound in iron behind their backs, gravel and sand crunching under their feet, their heads stayed low. However Pieck smiled and Magath wasn't sure why despite how well he knew her.

Magath: You seem very confident, Pieck. For what may be our death end.

Pieck: Nothing, it's just...that's the first time you called us soldiers and not warriors.

Porco and Reiner each crack tiny grins.

Nanaba: Be quiet and get rid of the smiles, we're arriving.

Over the hump of a small hill the port of Paradise came into view. The Marleyens all got closer to the point their shoulders touched. Eren and the rest took their guns off safety mode.

Eren: And you're all sure of this?

Magath: We are. There's no turning back now.

The Yeagerists came into full view, eye contact was exchanged with their now perplexed faces. At least two dozen were on the roof tops with ODM gear, rifles, and a pair of thunder spears each. Another dozen or so were on the ground also fully decked in all the titan killing gear they could possibly need. From among a small group of 5 Yeagerists one with orange hair emerged from them, arms folded and an angry look on his face.
