i heard this song the day the acoustic album dropped. i remember being so encapsulated with it, something about the feelings being carried in his voice reminded me of you, even at the early point in our relationship that i started the playlist

very similar in story to the first one, except for one thing- the music video for this song. the first time i watched it i sobbed. the delicate animation and beautiful but tragic story it tells lives in my heart rent free. something about the feelings i feel between the dragon and the unicorn in the video reminded me of you; along with the song just being one of my favorite softer melodies, having grown up listening to simon and garfunkle.

i don't have a sappy reason for this one tbh! i just like this song and you like the color blue so the sentiment of baby blue hit a note for me, especially during the situation with your friend.

when i was like 13 or 14 i used to imagine AMVs to this song, usually about warriors. but as i got older and i kept listening to it, i just realized that the more i build up walls and build this character of being strong for everyone, the more surprising it'll be (and the harder it'll be) to find someone to make me fall (in love, in case the song wasn't clear lol). but i think through all of my tribulations and seeing how everyone perceives me now, still somehow finding you- someone that treats me like a person with feelings and emotions and not just scary dog privilege right off the bat- kind of made me fall head over heels immediately

so until recently i thought that the lyrics for this song were different uh. it wasn't until i was watching the video for it with the lyrics and realized it's bewitch you in the moonlight and not be with you in the moonlight but i like the song regardless so it's staying. i love ghost lol

okay so this one is one of my favorite songs of all time, but i've never felt right listening to it. i've always felt like something was missing, like it was a lie for me to sing it without actually having that component to sing about. but now i have you! i feel like in some unfortunate way, we were made for each other. like the bad events in our lives (and the good ones) shaped us into who we were so when we found each other we could help each other through them. it's a KISS song, it doesn't need to be that deep, its just a banger lol
