"She's really nice, too," Beverly gushes, describing you, her favorite cousin, that is coming to Derry to visit her, your favorite cousin.
Richie has taken interest in your description, desiring a new face to give attention to. Beverly is giving him a good description of your personality, but Richie wants to get to the good stuff.
"Is she hot?" he blurts, squinting through the blazing sun. Beverly thinks for a second before nodding. "Yeah, I'd say she's pretty cute. She's got this amazing [color] hair and gorgeous [color] eyes . . ."
Richie barely has to hear anything past "yeah" to know that you'll be his new crush this summer.
