"Really, Richie, you don't have to help me," you say, knowing fully well your boyfriend doesn't know what kinds of trinkets you like to collect. Even though your relationship has been tested by time for eight months, Richie still wants to find ways to keep you impressed.
"How about this?" he asks, holding up a stick. You smile and shake your head, picking at a pile of interesting looking leaves. He holds up the neck to a beer bottle and turns to you, opening his mouth to ask if you want it, but he sees how seriously you're taking this and tosses it aside instead.
"Never mind. You always find way cooler shit than me anyway."
