~ You're taking a walk after your first encounter with It and find yourself on the bank of the Barrens, and across the small stream is the Bowers gang beating up a kid you recognize as Mike Hanlon ~

"Hey!" you shout when you see the boy in distress, his face shoved into a pile of raw meat that has been spilled on the rockey shore. Mike looks up in relief when he sees it's you, almost sighing in grattitude. The Bowers gang, however, barely pay you any mind until you take out your older brother's trusty switchblade, one you keep for just this purpose.
"Get away from him or I'll fuck all of you up!" you shout, pointing the blade at each of the members in turn. They hesitate for a moment, as if pondering whether or not it's worth the fight, before heading off with a few last crude remarks and hurtful gestures.
"How . . . How did you do that?" Mike pants, staring at you in awe.
"I grew up in a house with three other boys, I think I know how to handle myself," you say with a smirk.
