~ Mike comforts you about the disappearance of your little brother ~

You can feel tears forming in your eyes as Mike puts a reassuring hand on your leg. "Hey, hey, calm down. It's alright."
You take a deep, shaky breath and nod. "Sorry, sorry. I never thought that [Little Brother's Name] would disappear."
"I know, I know," Mike whispers softly. "It hit me just as hard when I found out."
"I'm sure it did," you say sincerely. Your little brother and Mike quickly became best friends once you and the farm boy began dating. It hurt him very bad because when you would work long shifts at the pool life guarding, Mike would watch the little boy and they would play with the animals together.
"I'm so, so sorry," Mike whispers again, standing up and kissing your cheek.
