both water guy and butterfly girl engage in some diolouge before water guy turns to us"run y/n tanjiro nezuko and don't stop for even a second!" we do as told as tanjiro picks up nezuko and I pick up nezukos box as we run through the woods turns out that snap I heard when I hit the floor was my ankle being absolutely destroyed
"hurry tanjiro we have to protect nezuko!"he nods as we continue running until I notice a girl coming down to kick tanjiro in the back as I grab her leg at the last second she lets out a surprised gasp as I throw her away from us ignoring the pain"run tanjiro i'll hold her off!"he nods and runs faster
"shadow clone jutsu!" my clones surround her as she slashes through them all as we run towards her but she's too fast as she kicks me in the face and knocks me out cold my body falls limp as all my clones poof away my vision fading as I watch her run after tanjiro and nezuko
a few seconds pass before I force myself to get up and run after her a few steps away i find tanjiro who looks to have gotten the same kick treatment as me I pick him up onto my back he's certainly heavier than last time I run through the woods as I see nezuko sitting on the ground in

and so the demons of mount natagumo are put to rest and the heavy atmosphere slowly fades this was one small step for the demon slayer corps little do they know the battles would grow longer more bloody and more grueling
