|training on wind|

after healing up i have gone back to training with gyomei-sensei and that genya guy we are mostly bickering but other than that gyomei-sensei would make us train together pray together or we would get thrown into the cold lake water

right now he is has me trying to split a peice of paper to learn if i'm even capable of doing this jutsu if my chakra nature is fire the paper will burn if wind the paper will split in half if lighting the paper will wrinkle if earth the paper will turn to dirt and crumble and if water the paper will become damp

for a peice of paper this thing is very hard to split but tanjiro came to spectate while my shadow clones and me try to get this paper to do something"hey y/n how's training going!"i pause my movements as i smile"oh hey tanjiro it's good so far!"he sits and cheers me on from the sidelines and eventually the paper splits in half!

"yes i did it!" "yay you did it y/n!- wait why are you spliting paper in half?..." "it's to see what chakra nature i have wind fire water earth or lighting and mine is wind!" he gets up and takes one of the papers from my shadow clones"do you mind if i try?" i shrug"okay but it'll take a long ti-" after a bit of struggle the paper lights on fire and burns away

my mouth is fully agape as tanjiro smiles"i got fire hopefully it'll help with me learning more about hinokami kagura!"we keep on chatting before tanjiro leaves for more rehabilitation training and i show gyomei sensei my hard work done"namu amida butsu....wind huh well onto the next step in the book"

(a few minutes later)

"you want me to split a waterfall?!" he nods before ruffling my hair and going off to help train genya as i summon my shadow clones and we begin trying to split the waterfall in half using chakra

a few hours have passed and no progress as we put all all we've got just on the verge of giving up we hear a loud voice shout from down below"ah young y/n there you are i couldn't help but notice young kamado boy talking about you training on a new jutsu and i came here to say i believe in you!"

i smile as i turn around seeing the one and only flame guy! he's wearing an eyepatch no longer in his demon slayer uniform and his katana isn't with him either oh right i heard flame guy retired after the mugen train mission i've been getting sent letters from the other hashira giving their thanks for saving flame guy all except cloud guy (muichiro) scar guy(sanemi) snake guy(obanai) and flamboyant guy(tengen)

he continues to cheer me on as the sun lowers over the hirozon as flame guy eventually leaves for the butterfly estate as i continue trying my hardest to split the waterfall before noticing genya"hey brat sensei says to come inside the estate for the night!" i jump down from the waterfall but leave my clones before waving at them"good luck guys!" 

"aw what!" "why can't we sleep" "you better thank us once we split  this waterfall!"i roll my eyes before following genya to the estate but i realize just how much chakra i've wasted as i collapse falling on top of him as his face turns bright red"what the- get off me brat wait are you asleep wake up wake up!....please?"i ignore his words as i fall asleep
