Nicks pov:

Excitement pulsed through me as Charlie and I prepared for our much-anticipated beach date. The sun was already casting its warm embrace, promising a day filled with love and laughter.

Memories of our teenage years flooded back, especially our first date at this very beach.

"Charlie, you almost ready?" I called out, a grin tugging at my lips as I glanced at myself in the mirror, adjusting my sunglasses.

His voice floated from the bathroom, filled with anticipation. "Just grabbing a few last-minute things, baby!"

As we gathered sunscreen, towels, and snacks into our beach bag, footsteps echoed down the hallway. My heart swelled with gratitude as my mum appeared in the doorway, a radiant smile lighting up her face.

"Morning, Mum! Thanks for coming over to watch Lily and Oakley," I said, feeling a rush of warmth at the sight of her.

My mums eyes sparkled with love as she reached for the bag of snacks. "It's my pleasure, sweetheart. I adore spending time with my grandbabies."

Lily and Oakley giggled and reached out to their grandmother, their tiny hands grasping at the air in excitement. Charlie's grin mirrored mine as he watched our children.

"They're going to have a blast with you, sarah," Charlie said, his voice filled with affection.

After exchanging hugs and kisses, Charlie and I said goodbye to our little ones and headed out the door, hand in hand. The breeze greeted us as we made our way to the car, anticipation bubbling in our chests.

During the drive to the beach, I couldn't help stealing glances at Charlie, marvelling at his beauty and the depth of my love for him. We shared stories and laughter, the anticipation growing with each passing moment.

When we finally arrived at the beach, I squeezed Charlie's hand, a silent promise of love passing between us. We spread out our towels, eager to soak up the sun and relive the memories of our first date.

As we lounged on the sand, Charlie leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to my lips. "I love you," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

My heart swelled with love as I gazed into his eyes. "I love you too, more than anything."

Hand in hand, we strolled along the shoreline, the waves lapping at our feet, lost in the magic of the moment.

And as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and gold, I knew that this day, this beach, and this love would forever hold a special place in my heart.
