"Sparkly" I say as we walk in.
"Table for two please" Keefe says to the elf at the door. The elf leads us to a table close to the back.
"This place is beautiful. Sparkly but beautiful."
"Mhm" Keefe says looking around.
"Hello I'll be your server I'm Veronica. Hey your Sophie Foster and Keefe Sencen aren't you? My daughter is a big fan"
"Yes. Well technically I'm Sophie Sencen now but yes that's us."
"Could I have an autograph for my daughter? Oh here are your menus I almost forgot" she hands us each a menu.
"Thank you and of course you can have an autograph." Keefe says sighing the piece of paper she gave us. I sign it aswell.

"Thank you so much! I'll be back when your ready to order." She says walking off excited.
"What are you going to get?" I ask Keefe.
"Probably food" he answers.
"Well duh but what kind of food?" I ask him again.
"Probably a popping cake."
"What the heck is that?" I ask.
"It's like a human pancake." He answers.
"Oh what about a pearl cake?"
"Same as a pancake."
"I think I'll get that."
Veronica comes back. "Can I take your orders?"
"Yes I'd like popping pancakes and lushberry juice." Keefe says.
"Ok and for you ma'am?"
"I would like pearl cake and lushberry juice"
"Ok we will get it to you shortly" she says walking away swiftly.
"Happy Birthday Sencen" Keefe says looking at me in my eyes. I blush.
"Here's your food" Veronica says handing us each out plate if food and drinks. "Enjoy" she walks away.
My pancake looks normal except for the pearly things in them like chocolate chips. I take a small bite and yelp in surprise as they pop in my mouth.
"What the heck?!?" I yelp.
Keefe doubles over laughing.
"It's not funny" I mutter taking another bite with a smaller flinch.
"It is funny darling" he laughs.
I yelp again but not because of the food. Because of baby. Tears start to swell.
"I'm sorry Darling. What's the matter? Was it me?" He asks worried.
"It's baby!" I tell him as the tears fall
"Oh Hun... I'm so sorry..."
"No. I felt her kick!" I say as the tears fall. "She might be ok!"
"Wait you did?!" He feels my abdomen. "Where?"
I lead his hand to my lower abdomen where I felt the kick.
"She is kicking" he laughs as tears fall in his eyes.
"Oh she stopped now. We can eat. I wonder if she likes the food" I tell him.
"Well I do!" Keefe says sitting back in his chair eating the food.
"It really is good!" I say taking another bite. "I'ma tell the cook thank you" I stand up and start to walk to the kitchen.
"Ma'am you can't go in there." A worker tell me.
"Please. I'd like to tell them there food saved my baby" I tell them.
"How?" They ask confused.
"I... I was losing my baby when I ate the food I felt a kick." I tell them.
"Alright I'll tell the cook to come out." They walk into the kitchen after awhile a darker woman comes out her hair in a braided bun as she gets closer I realize it's Maruca.
"Sophie?" She asks walking forward.
"Hi Maruca. I wanted to tell you thank you" I say giving her a gentle hug.
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"I was losing my baby. The food. When I ate it I felt her kick" I say with a small smile.
'But that's impossible for elves." She says shocked.
"Not for me I guess" I shrug.
She laughs "How am I not surprised"
I laugh as well. Keefe walks over. "Maruca?! You work here?"
"Yep. So does my boyfriend." She says.
"Who's your boyfriend?" I ask.
"Tam. He's a server for now" she smiles.
"Oh makes sense. Well we should let you get back to work" I say with a smile as I waddle off.
"This food really is good" I say shoving my mouth full.
"Mhm. When you're done we should head back we don't know what Ro is doing to the kids."
"Yeah. I can't believe Ro's a mom! Bo's a dad now! Dang..."
"Tonight I'll start the next chapter of Bo and Ro and the tiny Mo." He says with a smirk.
"You have to let me read that" I tell him.
"Dea I'll read it to everyone tonight" he says confidently.
"Deal." I say.
"Ready for your check?" Veronica asks from the end of the table.
