Ro rocks Calla to sleep.
"Your good with kids" I note.
"Mhm. I'm a mom now" She says.
"Never would have seen that coming" Keefe says.
"I didn't either. It was Dads idea"
"Really?"
"Yup. He wanted an heir to the throne" She rolls her eyes. "But honestly I wouldn't change a thing"
"Really?" I say again.
"Never thought I would say it but I really do love kids." She smiles down at Calla.
"Never thought I would ever hear you say that either" Keefe jumps in.
"Plot twist of the centenary" I smile.
"Yup. Now here's your baby back I believe she's hungry" She hands Calla back to me and I breast feed her.
"So where is Mo and Bo?" Keefe asks looking anywhere but at me and Calla.
"At home. Anyone hungry? Cause I am" She walks out. "Everyone left!"
"Oh. Wonder why." I mutter still feeding Calla.
Keefe looks into the hall. "Dunno. Ima go help Ro." He stands up "What would you like to eat?"
"Anything" I say.
"Ok" He walks out to help Ro. Amy comes running in.
"Mommy!"
"shhh. Don't be to loud" I tell her as Calla finishes feeding.
"Ok." She says quieter. "Can I give Calla her stuffy?"
"Of course"
Amy pulls out the purple imp stuffy. "Here Calla"
Calla coos.
"I think she likes it" I tell Amy.
"Me too!" Then she runs out. I walk out.
"Sophie. Shouldn't you be sleeping?" Keefe asks.
"I'm going to visit Silveny." I tell him walking out. I walk to the back garden where the Alicorns are. Silveny is laying on the ground.
SOPHIE SOPHIE SOPHIE BABY OK? BABY OK? BABY OK?
yes! Baby is right here! Her name is Calla Edaline Sencen!
SEE? SEE? SEE?
Of course! I walk closer and sit down beside her showing her my new born baby.
CALLA CALLA CALLA
yes! Calla! Silveny nuzzles Calla gently. when she's done I lay Calla on my chest and all three of us fall asleep.
"SOPHIE!!!" Keefe is yelling.
"what?" I mumble.
"Food's ready!" He says happily helping me up.
"Oh. Oh food!" I say as my brain starts to work.
"Could I hold Calla?" HE asks.
"Of course you can hold your daughter!" I hand him Calla and we walk inside.
"We have my special Ro's food!" Ro exclaims. I sit down and she hands me a plate of what looks like green eggs.
I take small bite and gasp. "It's delicious!"
"Of course it is! I made it!" Ro exclaims.
I inhale the whole thing before Keefe sits down. "Jeeze birthing a baby must have made your hungry!" Keefe yelps.
"Yes. Now shh. Let me eat." I look at Ro. "May I have some more?"
"Of course!" She gets me another plate. " Eat up mama"
After we finish eating I take Calla for a walk around the forest outside our house.
"Well Calla how are you liking life so far?" I ask her. She doesn't reply. We keep walking for awhile.
"Look at that tree" I point to one of the trees with pink and purple leaves.
"Mama" She says.
"Oh my gosh!" I yelp. "We got to show Keefe!"
I speed walk back to the house.
"back from your walk so soon?" Keefe asks.
"Keefe! Calla said her first word!" I tell him grinning.
"Really?" He grins as well coming over. "Say it again Calla"
"Mama" She giggles.
"Your right!" Keefe grins.
"Of course I am!"
Keefe gives me us a hug.
