Chasing hearts

~Chapter Twenty Five~ Kellin's POV

We all sat on the couch watching a movie it was Justin's idea to watch The Lord of the Rings which no one complained and when it was over everyone headed to there bunks and went to sleep Vanessa still seemed a bit down and it felt like hours had passed by and I couldn't sleep so I had an idea I slipped out of my bunk and went over to hers "Psst you still awake?" I ask in a whisper trying to be silent She rolled over "Yeah Im still awake" she whispers back "Wanna sneak out with me?" I say with a little grin "Where do you wanna go?" She asked curiously "I saw a ice cream shop right across the street wanna go? There open 24 hours my treat" I say with a smirk "In our pjs?" She asks with a little giggle "Yeah thats the best part" I say with a little laugh "Okay silly lets get our shoes on" she says smiling we both got our shoes on and slid out the bus door without a sound once we were out we started walking across the empty street "So do you usually sneak out and get ice cream this late" Vanessa asks with a smirk "No just thought it'd be fun plus I love Ice cream" I say with a smile she just rolled her eyes we got to the ice cream shop and walked in and we both order french vanilla "Wanna go for a walk while we eat our ice cream?" Vanessa asks looking up at me "Yea sounds cool" I reply we left the shop and started walking down the sidewalk "I love french vanilla" she says while scooping some in her mouth "Me to its my favorite" I say in agreement "Your such a copycat" she says sarcastically I just laughed and rolled my eyes we continued walking until we finished our ice cream "Wanna go to the park theres one right around the corner" I ask while we threw away our trash "Yes let's go!" She says excitedly which made me smile to see her inner child when we got to the park Vanessa ran towards the swings yelling "Come and push me!" I laughed and did as she asked "So how'd you know there was a park here?" She asked as I pushed her swing "Iv been here a couple times while touring" I say while sitting in the swing beside her she looked up at the sky "I think I saw a shooting star" she says while dazing at the sky "Make a wish" I say while looking up at the stars then I remembered there was a lake at this park I stood up and looked over at Vanessa "Come on I gotta show you something" I say while walking over to her "Okay where we going?" She asked curiously "Its a surprise" I say while walking in the direction of the lake and Vanessa following beside me we walked for ten minutes then there it was the lake the moonlight reflected off of it making it so beautiful "Whoa this is amazing" she says looking at the lake then back at me I walk closer then took a seat in the grass she did the same sitting close to me "I figured you'd like it" I say with a smile she smiled in return and gazed at the lake she leaned back accidentally putting her hand on mine but to my surprise she didn't move it away it stayed that way for a while then she layed down on the grass gazing at the stars so I layed down with her and did the same "You see that star thats the northern star" I say pointing in the direction "Really I thought that was it?" She said curiously and pointing in a different direction "No thats a plane" I say starting to laugh "Oh shush I was close" she says sarcastically "Sure you were, are you ready to head back" I ask looking over at her "I guess" she says getting up and she put her hand out in a gesture to help me up I took her hand but I was to heavy and she ended up falling on top of me with a bunch of giggles as soon as we stoped laughing we both sat up a little with our eyes locked onto each other's her eyes sparkled in the moonlight catching my attention a strand of hair fell over her eye and I pushed it behind her ear she bit her lip nervously and our faces began to move closer I knew what was gonna happen and I didn't want to stop it her hand traced my jaw line and my hand rested on her hip our lips met it was a slow and gently kiss she ran her fingers threw my hair and I loved it our lips moved in sync and when we finally pulled apart we were breathless my heart was beating out of my chest I looked into her eyes they sparkled with passion "Whoa" she whispered I sat up and took her hand to help her up "Come on lets go" I say while blushing all feelings I had for her before became stronger. The whole walk home we were holding hands when we got back to the bus she stopped and looked at me "So you know those sparks you were talking about?" She asked me shyly "Yeah what about them?" I ask curiously she began to blush "I'll never forget them." She replied "Neither will I" I say above a whisper then she stepped closer and I wrapped my arms around her waist she kissed me one more time before we got back into the bus.
