Chasing hearts

~Chapter Thirty~ Vanessa's POV

I changed in my pjs and went to my bunk I just wanted tonight to end so I could leave Carolina I heard the rest of the guys come in and I could tell they were concerned by there voices I heard Kellin and Austin explain everything that had happened it made me feel horrible I didnt want them to worry or stress over what had happened I layed in my bunk disgusted with myself and I couldn't fall asleep I heard Austin get up and leave and the rest of the guys got ready to go to bed when everything became silent I knew they were asleep I checked my phone it was 1:00am I layed there and let out a sigh tears began to lace down my face I sniffled and swiped them away "Can I join you?" I heard a hushed voice say I looked over and saw Kellin I didnt even hear him walk over to my bunk I moved over giving him room to lay beside me "Sure" I say in a whisper he climbed in and wrapped his arms around me I found it comforting "Whats on your mind baby girl" He says in a whisper I remained quit for a moment "As much as I want I cant fall asleep" I say while cuddling my face into his chest "Restless nights I get those sometimes" He says while kissing the top of my head "Gotta love it" I say sarcastically he laughed a little "Where are we going to next" I ask curiously "Arizona thats our last stop" he says with a sigh "Im gonna miss warped Iv had so much fun" I say sadly "The fun doesn't have to stop theres always a concert playing somewhere and warped tour comes around yearly" he says reassuringly "Yeah I guess so" I say knowing I'll probably never see them again I let out a yawn feeling suddenly tired "Get some rest babe" he says while still holding me in his arms "Goodnight" I said in a whisper and drifted off to sleep listening to Kellin's steady heartbeat. I woke up to Kellin getting out of my bunk I checked my phone it was 6:00am "Hey what ya doing" I ask Kellin sleepily "I don't want the guys to know I slept in your bunk go back to sleep okay" he says in a whisper I watched as he climbed into his bunk and went back to sleep why didn't he want the others to know? Once I knew he was asleep I slipped out of my bunk and went to take a shower I grabbed some fresh cloths and my makeup and went to the bathroom I looked in the mirror and saw that the bruise on my face was less noticeable and my lip was practically healed I jumped in the shower and when I was done I put on my issues t shirt with a pair of jean shorts and my galaxy vans I decided to go with a winged eyeliner look and I put foundation on my bruise till it was completely covered I brushed out my hair and took one last look in the mirror then exited the bathroom. I went to the kitchen to make some pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon while I was cooking I began to sing Thats What You Get by paramore once I finished cooking everything I set out some plates and forks then I made myself a plate and started to eat "I knew I smelled your pancakes!" I heard a voice and looked up to see jack coming into the kitchen he gave me a huge hug then grabbed a plate "Oh yeah I made a bunch dig in" I say while looking up to see the rest of the guys grabbing plates once I was done I put my plate in the sink and grabbed my purse then headed for the door "Hey where you going?" I heard Kellin say with a mouthful "Just for a walk I'll be back soon" I say then I turn on my heels and left without another word I began walking the street till I found a gas station I went inside and purchased a pack of ciggaretes I lit one up and began walking down the street after my first drag I instantly felt the stress melt away I looked up and down the streets of Arizona to look for a hotel I could stay at when the tour ended.
