Chasing hearts

~Chapter Twenty Six~ Vanessa's POV

I had woken up that morning wondering if everything that happened between me and Kellin was a dream or reality it was so perfect to me, it couldn't have been true. I got out of my bunk went to the bathroom and did my morning routine I put on my makeup deciding to wear winged eyeliner I brushed out my hair then put on my clothes for the day I wore a teal blue tank top with white shorts with my converses. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time it was 1:00pm I shoved my phone in my pocket and went to go sit on the couch "Hey sleepy head!" Jesse yells as I enter the room "Hey sorry I overslept" I say shyly "Were about to go to sound check our set starts at 4 are you gonna be there?" Gabe asks me with a smile "Oh okay yeah I'll be there" I say excitedly I love watching them perform on stage "All right we will see you there" Gabe says while going to get a drink "Okay guys lets go time for sound check!" Jack yells while waiting at the door I got up and went to the fridge to get a drink then I heard Kellin yell back "Go ahead I'll catch up!" Jack turns around "Okay!" He yells back then the guys exit the bus I turn around to see Kellin walking my way "So are you gonna be at our set later?" He asks looking down at me "Yeah I'll be there cheering you on" I say while blushing a little "Good I'll be looking forward to it" he says while snaking his hands around my waist and pulling me closer to him I bit my lip nervously I let my hand gently caress the side of his face he leaned forward and kissed me sweetly all the sparks I felt last night came back making my cheeks heat up I could feel myself smile into the kiss when we pulled apart I cuddled into his chest taking in his scent while he held me tightly he kissed the top of my head which made me blush "I gotta get going I don't want to be to late for sound check" he says while pulling away "Yea I don't want to make you late" I say with a little giggle "I'll see you later tho" he says with a wink after that he left I let out a sigh of happiness I grabbed a protein bar and my drink and headed out of the bus and to the merch stands I started eating my protein bar when I felt an odd feeling that someone was watching me I looked around and there really wasn't anyone there just a couple of people walking around non was paying any attention to me so I kept walking till I was at the merch stands I began looking at shirts till I found a Pierce the veil tank top I fell in love with it so I got it I also found a white vans warped tour t shirt I got that as well I started to walk back to the bus when I saw Austin I ran towards him he smiled when he noticed me I ran up and gave him a huge hug "Heyy someone's in a good mood" he says while laughing "Yeah you could say that oh look what I bought!" I say with a huge grin and showed him my shirts "Awesome" he says I folded up the shirts and put them in there bags "So how'd it go with you and Tyler?" Austin asked taking me by surprise I almost forgot about him "Oh well I told him how I felt and I think were gonna be friends " I say while shrugging my shoulders "You think?" He questioned "Yeah he says he's gotta get over me first" I say shyly "Wow he must of really liked you" Austin says while putting his hands in his pockets "I don't know why we only had one date" I say in defense "Some people fall hard to fast ya know?" He says "Yeah I guess so" I say looking down I got the sudden feeling of being watched it started to freak me out but I remained calm I looked around again but no one was there "You okay you look worried" Austin says making me jump a little "Yeah I just have the feeling Im being watched" I say shyly "Its probably just in your head it happens to me all the time" he says comfortingly "Yeah your probably right well I gotta go put these shirts in the bus" I say while checking the time on my phone it was 3:00pm "Okay I'll catch you later sis text me if you need me" he says with a smile "Okay later bro" and with that I head back to the bus.
