I gasped at the plot twist in the book I was reading. I wasn't expecting that. I sat up straight to get more into the book before the screeching of a chair caught my attention. I looked up and a guy, around my age held a leg of chair, awkwardly standing. I watched as the store owner marched towards said guy with an angry face. With the way they exchanged words,they seem pretty close. Eventually,the woman sighed, mumbling something about him being extremely clumsy.
The boy carefully sat on another chair, looking towards my direction. We made eye contact,his face grew red in an instant, probably from embarrassment. I smiled at him to make him feel less embarrassed and went back to my book.
" The ritual" a deep yet soothing voice spoke from across. It was the guy from earlier .
" Yeah, it's a good book" I replied looking at him.
" Really?, I haven't read it yet" he replied, starting a conversation.
" You should." I said nodding. I suck at keeping a conversation going but this guy seemed good at it. He asked if he could seat with me before he asked me to narrate what the book was about. He told him the main points, leaving out the plot twist,that would've been a spoiler. We spoke for what seemed like hours and he seemed really nice and handsome too. I learned that his name is Namjoon. He was in an upcoming boy band called BTS which consisted of seven guys including him.
Our conversation ended rather quickly. I had to pick up my brother from the airport and he was already blowing up my phone. I packed my things bidding Namjoon goodbye
" Will I see you again?" he asked" of course " I replied, smiling.
" Infact "I started, scribbling on a piece of paper.
" If you don't,give me a call. My house is just a few miles from here" I continued. He took the paper,a tint of redness on his cheeks. Cute.
He offered to walk me out which I agreed to. He opened the door for me like a gentleman that he his, coming out after. He closed the door behind him, ripping off the door knob. The store lady gasped before marching towards him. He gave me a smile, waving before jogging away to avoid the wrath of the store owner.
