"Whew. I thought that'd never end." I let out a breath.
"You sailed this ship well." Sinbad smiles.
"Is your hand, okay?" I ask picking it up.
It looks slightly bruised but otherwise... nothing too serious.
"It's fine." He smiles.
"This adventure has gone so smoothly." I chuckle.
"Calm seas, nothing much for now." He says.
"How are you holding up?" I say.
"I'm doing splendid. It's not every day you piss off one of the most powerful Gods." He chuckles.
"Still blaming yourself?" I ask.
He pushes away from me.
"Sinbad..." I start.
"Look. I'm fine. We should keep focus." He says.
I let out a breath. I watched Poseidon's rage. I heard is song. Ruthlessness is mercy upon us, I don't believe that. There is no such thing as false mercy. Mercy has no price in my opinion. I was so scared thinking he might die. I don't want to lose him again. I never want to lose those who I love. Spike rubs my leg.
"Aw. Such a good boy." I play with his cheeks.
Sinbad takes the wheel. I look at him. He has a stone look on his face. I let out a breath.
"Don't worry Sinbad, I won't push too hard." I mutter.
