I wake up in a startle. Ow. I wince as I sit up. Proteus turns to me.
"Oh, good your awake Sinbad." He walks over.
"Where's Marina?" I ask.
"I sent her to my room to sleep. She was quite worried about you. I managed to convince her to get some sleep." He says.
"Okay good." I say.
He sits down beside me. I let out a breath.
"I really messed up huh?" I chuckle.
"Sinbad... it's mostly my fault." Proteus says.
"Nah. Don't sweat it." I hiss as I come beside him.
Poseidon. The God who I respect most, I've angered him. Aw... Gods help me. I've made a horrible mistake. I blinded Polyphemus son of Poseidon. The Gods have always had wack out children. I slam my hand into my face.
"Sinbad, we're going to fix this." Proteus says.
"I still don't know why you volunteered." I mutter.
"I owe you twice." He says.
I look at him. He punches my shoulder gently. I wince.
"Oh sorry." He says.
"Sinbad, it's good to see you awake." King Dymas says.
"Sorry for all the trouble I caused." I say.
"As King, it is my responsibility." King Dymas says.
"You weren't the one Poseidon was talking about." I sigh.
"I'm so sorry for calling you here if I had known that cyclopes was Poseidon's son-" King Dymas sighs.
"Hey... I'm the one who blinded him. It's my fault and only mine." I look down.
