Echidna shoots forward. I dodge. Even as big as she is, she's actually a lot faster than I thought. I slam my sword into her tail. She glares at me. She slams her hand into the ground. I get thrown into Proteus. She turns to us and hisses loudly. Out of her fangs shoots a liquid.
"Look out!" I yell.
I jump back. Proteus spins around. Marina runs over to us. I grab her hand. Echidna turns and throws her body at us. I push Marina and me out of the way. She glares at us. She roars and Marina gets pushed into me. I grab her hand and I start running. Echidna screeches and follows us.
"Sinbad, what's the plan?" Marina asks.
"Working on it." I gasp.
I run through the maze of stalactites. Come on Sinbad. Think. Think. I look around. There's not much to really work with. There were bones, but since when do bones help us? There has to be some sort of a hole or... arch! I turn.
"Marina this way!" I yell.
She turns and sees the archway.
"Keep running." I say as I halt.
"Sinbad, what-" Marina looks at me.
"Just do it!" I yell.
She nods and starts running. Echidna shoots upward and looks down at me. She looks really really angry. Fortunately, I have the habit of getting people angry at me. I think I can draw her in. I'm good at fishing after all.
