"You want to know why I'm here. Why?" Polyphemus asks me.

"This is my home, and it is my duty to protect it." Proteus says.

While they were talking, I duck behind the rocks. I take out my knife. P Polyphemus draws forward. I really hope this'll work. I jump onto his leg. I ignore the smell burning my nose. I grip my knife.

"Why?" Polyphemus cocks his head.

"You need to leave!" Proteus yells.

"Who are you to tell me where to live?" He growls.

C'mon keep him talking. Cyclops love to talk. I speak from experience. I need to get to his head.

"I am the future king. Of course it's my duty to protect my people!" Proteus yells.

Polyphemus moves his hand. I grip his shirt. Proteus draws back and slams his sword into his hand. Polyphemus winces. He draws back. I find my footing. I manage to climb his neck. Polyphemus eye was drawn to Proteus.

"My patience is wearing thin." Polyphemus growls.

"Hear me out. We need not to fight." Proteus says.

"Oh? Go on." Polyphemus sits back down.

"I propose a proposition." Proteus says.

"A proposition with a cyclops? Cute." Polyphemus yawns.

I get up to his head. Then Polyphemus draws back.

"There was another. Where is he?" Polyphemus asks.

"Right here." I jump.

I slam my knife into his eye. He lets out a scream. I watch as the blood drops. I was hanging a hundred feet in the air. He thrashes around. I watch as the cave starts breaking and the rocks start coming loose.

"Proteus! Go!" I yell.

"But what about you?!" Proteus yells.

"I'll be fine!" I call.

He nods and runs. Polyphemus slams me into a wall. I wince. He lets out another scream. It almost causes my ears to bleed. The knife was slipping. I was slipping. This might not have been my best plan.

"We were never really properly introduced. My name is Sinbad!" I yell.
