"Sinbad?!" I yell.
"Sinbad?!" Marina yells.
I look around. The cave is in ruins. I look around frantically. He did it! He brought down the mother of all monsters. Yet... why does a hit of fear suddenly wash over me? I throw small stones aside.
"Proteus!" Marina screams.
I turn. I see his broken sword. It was stained in blood. My heart sinks. Oh no. Oh no.
"Nghhh..." A faint voice mutters.
I could barely here it. I turn. I start running. I see a hand soaked in blood.
"Sinbad!" I yell.
I remove the rocks. Oh no...
"It's not that bad, is it?" He asks.
He was covered in blood. One arm was twisted, I'm sure it's broken. His gash had grown and was turning slightly green. I lift him up. He looks incredibly badly injured. I couldn't find the words. Marina's eyes swelled in tears. My eyes did as well.
"Sinbad... hold on." I say through tears.
"Sinbad, you're going to be okay." Marina forces a smile.
"Yeah...not...so...sure..." He hisses.
"Shh. Shh..." Marina strokes his head.
"Proteus...I..." He starts.
"Sinbad, stop. Save your strength." I say.
"Heh...my...strength...is....gone...but... *grunts in pain*... Can...you look... after my ship?" He turns to Marina.
"Yes. Of course." I say.
His hand stops moving. My eyes widen.
"Sinbad no!" Marina cries.
