As of right now the whole BBQ was going smooth, Kevin was getting along with my mom, and of course the little boys, which were my cousins that couldn't leave him alone because they listen to his music so you already know they couldn't compose themselves.
Kay didn't mind it though cause they were doing nothing crazy but y'all already got your pictures taken ain't nothing more you could want with him.
I eventually left him with my cousins once I peeped that he was comfortable especially with him being around his friends this meant I could go be around mine.
"He leaving a good impression on your mom" I took my eyes off him and looked over at Shania who was devouring her plate.
"Thankfully" I sighed even though I had my doubts of my mother liking him I still believed that it was going to be fine cause he really ain't a bad person.
The people that he's around and whoever else makes him be that disrespectful, loud mouth on Instagram.
In real life he really isn't a loud mouth, yeah he is a lil disrespectful but Kay on IG isn't the same Kay I'm around everyday. I kinda do get it if it's cause he's got no reason to act out but Kay don't argue in real life.
"Leilani..? Lei" Shania called.
"Hm?"
"Your mom is calling you" she pointed in the direction of where my mom was standing I turned to look and saw Carmen, with Reece and Mariyah in his arms.
Rushing out of my seat I sped over to where Carmen was and gave her the biggest hug.
"I missed you guys so much" my words came out muffled from her hair blocking my words.
"Missed you more" I pulled away from the hug and turned to look at Reece, I moved closer to him so I could also give him a hug "he's here?"
Reece leaned down and placed Mariyah in my arms "he is" I fixed how the clothes were sitting on her body then moved her so she was resting her head on my shoulder I love holding a baby like it feels so intimate "she's gotten so big".
"I know right it feels like she grew overnight" Carmen watched us with a small smile on her face "so where is he?" I turned around and pointed to where he was sitting with Gotti, Setty and them "he seen your mom yet?"
"Yeah" I nodded "should I get him?"
"Yea" my brother now responded I slowly walked over to where they at making sure to keep my eyes on the ground so I don't trip over nothing.
