It was five o'clock in the morning, the sky was just starting to turn blue. Sam was awakened by his phone alarm. He turned it off, got up and started getting dressed. Alexandria was asleep in the bed. They'd slept together every night for the last week. Sam left and went back to his room.

Two days later in New York City Sam met up with his friend Steve (Sting) for lunch.

"Alright, what's wrong?" Steve asked.

"I'm having an affair." Sam said shamefully.

"What?" He said shocked. "With who?"

"Have you seen the new interviewer watching at home, Alexandria Gallagher?"

"Yeah."

"I've been attracted to her since she started." "The first night we met she asked me out."

"Did you tell her you have a girlfriend?"

"Yeah, she doesn't seem to care." "Before we started sleeping together, she'd flirt with me and I liked it." "The sex is good."

"Better then with Hayden?"

"No." "With Alexandria once we're done, I don't feel anything."

"With her it's purely hormonal?"

"Right."

"I can't believe you would do this." "Especially after all the trouble you went through to get Hayden to go out with you in the first place."

"I never planned this Steve, I love Hayden, I do." "Look what I picked up today." He took a ring box out of his pocket and opened it. "I designed it myself."

"If that's really what you want, you need to stop the affair."

"I've tried, but every time I try, we end up having sex."

Two nights later Sam and a bunch of others were doing a meet and greet and Q&A session in Florida. Alexandria wasn't there.  When it was time for the Q&A session there was an additional chair. It was next to Sam.

"Some of you are probably wondering why there's an empty chair up here, including our panel." The host said. "We have a surprise panelist." "Please welcome Hayden Chambers."

Hayden came out with a big smile on her face. Before she sat down she gave Sam a kiss on the cheek on the side without paint.

The host was talking to Hayden.

"Do you know when you'll be back in the ring?" The host asked.

"Not officially quite yet." "Hopefully soon."

"Do you miss the ring?"

"I miss the ring, I miss the fans, I miss this pain in the ass." She said jokingly pointing at Sam. Sam laughed

"How long have you and Darby been together?"

"Two years."

"If she would've had her way at first, it would've been no years." Sam said. "When I first started asking her out she kept saying no." "I asked her out every week for ten weeks."

"Finally she said yes?" The host asked.

"Sort of, she said." "Jesus Christ, ok." "If I agree to go on a date with you, will you stop bugging me?" Hayden was nodding her head yes and smiling.

"Now I can't imagine my life without the crazy bastard." She said jokingly.

"I love you too Hayden." Sam said.

Flashback

Hayden had been in AEW for a year. She was single and just enjoying life. One night at the arena Sam came up to her in catering. They knew each other but never really talked before.

"Hi Hayden." He said.

"Hi Sam."

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"No."

"Will you go to dinner with me tonight?"

"No."

"Why?"

"It's nothing personal, you're just not my type." She walked away.

Hayden went back to the Women's Locker Room. She was laughing a little.

"What's so funny?" Britt asked.

"Sam Ratsch just asked me out."

"Where are you guys going?"

"Nowhere." "I said no."

"Why?"

"He's not my type." "He'd probably talk about skateboarding the whole time."

The next week he came up to her in catering.

"Please give me a chance." He said.

"No."

It went on week after week after week. He'd come up to her in catering for the tenth week in a row. She rolled her eyes.

"Jesus Christ, ok."  She said annoyed. "If I agree to go on a date with you, will you stop bugging me?"

"Yes." "Dinner tonight?"

"Fine." "This is the only date we're going on."

"That's fine."

Hayden went back to the Women's Locker Room.

"Damn it." Hayden said annoyed.

"What?" Britt asked.

"I'm going on a date with Sam."

"I want details."

"It's gonna be a disaster."

At dinner that night Hayden couldn't believe how wrong she was about Sam. She was having a great time. They were in California. Before  going back to the hotel they went for a walk on a pier, where they could see a twinkling ferris wheel in the distance. They got to know each more.

Sam walked Hayden back to her room. They standing outside her room.

"Did you have as bad of time as you thought you would?" He asked.

"No." "I had a lot of fun actually."

"Can we go out again?"

"Yes." He smiled. They hugged.

End Of  Flashback

Hayden and Sam went back to his room. They were on the bed having sex.

"Harder." She said.

"Are you sure?" She nodded her head yes. He went faster. "Hayden."  He groaned.

"Ohhh, god Sam." They kissed.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

Afterwards Hayden was just coming back to bed from going to the bathroom. She snuggled up to him. He got a text. His phone was out on the coffee table.

"Who could that be at this hour?" Hayden said.

"I have no idea." He said knowing it was probably Alexandria. "Let me go check." He got up.

"Nice ass."

"Thanks." He went out into the living room and checked his phone. Sure enough it was Alexandria. The text read.

I want you to do me in an elevator. - Alexandria

He deleted the message and went back into the bedroom.

"Spam text." He said as he got back in bed.

"I hate those." He looked at her lovingly and caressed her cheek with his palm, looking at her lovingly. "What honey?"

"I just can't believe how lucky I am."

"I'm the lucky one, you're the best person I know."

"I love you."

"I love you too." They kissed.
