Alexandria had been fired three weeks ago. Hayden and Max continued to grow closer .
Hayden was at home and decided to do some cleaning around her house. As she swept the living room floor the broom hit something under the couch. She got down on her hands and knees to see what it was. Reaching under the couch she felt something hard. Hayden pulled out a bottle of black nail polish. She knew instantly it belonged to Sam.
Hayden moved to upstairs. She cleaned the tub and bathroom mirror. As she was cleaning out the medicine cabinet, eventually she saw a peroxide bottle. It was also Sam's.
As Hayden was cleaning out her walk in closet she came across a hoodie of Sam's. She sighed frustrated.
"What is this, Reminders Of Your Ex day?" She thought.
Hayden went downstairs and started making dinner for herself. Her phone rang.
"Hello?" She said.
"Hey baby." Max said.
"Hi."
"What are you doing?"
"Making dinner."
"Are you booked on Collision next weekend?"
"I'll have to check but I don't think so."
"If you don't do you want to spend the weekend with me at my house.
"Sure." "As soon as I for sure, I'll let you know."
"Ok." "I miss you."
"I miss you too."
That Wednesday Hayden was waiting into the arena. She was about to open the door to inside. She heard Max's voice say.
"Hang on." He opened the door for her.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." They went inside and kissed.
"I'm free this weekend." "Still want me to come over?"
"Absolutely, this weekend's gonna fun."
Hayden and Britt were sitting in the Women's Locker Room. Hayden was on her phone.
"What are you doing?" Britt asked.
"Looking at lingerie." "I'm spending the weekend at Max's house."
"Alright, what is going on with you two?"
"I'm not sure." "I know I have feelings for him."
After her match Hayden was in catering drinking a water. Sam came up to her.
"What?" She said annoyed.
"Do you have to work this weekend?"
"No."
"Can we have dinner?" "I just wanna talk."
"I have plans, even if I didn't, I still wouldn't go anywhere with you."
"Alexandria's not even here anymore."
"Well I know now all it takes for you to cheat on me, is for you to be attracted to someone." "Who knows when it could happen again."
"Never again."
"Some of your stuff is still at my house." "You can come and get it whenever." She walked away.
That weekend Hayden had just arrived at Max's house.
"Hi baby." He said smiling.
"Hi sweetheart." They kissed.
That night they went out for a romantic dinner. They'd just gotten back.
"Wanna go upstairs?" Max asked.
"Yeah." She kissed him. "Give me five minutes." "I have to go to the bathroom."
As Hayden was in the bathroom, Max lit candles and stripped down to his boxers. He was in bed waiting for her. A few minutes later she appeared in the doorway wearing a white laced nightgown.
"What do you think?" She asked. "I bought it for this weekend."
"You look great." "Come here." She kneeled on the foot of the bed and crawled up to him. They kissed.
They'd just finished having sex. He was on top of her.
"I love you." He said. She got a surprised look on her face. "It's ok, you don't have to say it back." "I know you're not ready yet." They kissed.
