Chapter 28

The next chapter is the last one.

Over the last three months Hayden and Max continued to plan the wedding, as well as preparing for the baby. Hayden was five months pregnant with a baby boy. She loved her ever growing baby bump. She and Max's wedding was next week.

Dynamite was in New York this week so Hayden was at the arena. She was in catering getting something to eat. Sam came into catering.

"Hi." He said.

"Hi."

"Congratulations on the baby."

"Thanks."

"Do you know what it is yet?"

"A boy."

"That's great."

"The night I found out I was pregnant, I noticed you with a woman." "Is she your girlfriend?"

"Yes."

"What's her name?"

"Lucy."

"She's very pretty."

"Thanks."

"I'm really happy for you."

"Thanks." 

"How long have you two been together?"

"Seven months."

The next week in New York white chairs were set up in a wooded area. There was a red carpet representing the aisle with a white archway at the end. Red and orange leaves were on the trees and the ground. Violinists played her down the aisle.

At around midnight Hayden and Max were in bed together in their honeymoon suite. He caressed her stomach.

"Now we just need him." Max said.

"I can't wait."

"Me either." They kissed.

Two nights later Sam was at Lucy's house. They were sitting on the couch.

"A few months ago I requested a transfer to the law firm branch in Atlanta." "It was granted today."

"Well you'll need somewhere to stay." "Wanna move in with me?"

She smiled. "Really?"

"Absolutely."

"Yes." They kissed.
