Hayden and Max had been casually hanging out the last couple of weeks. She felt like she could talk to  him about anything.

Hayden was at the arena in the Women's Locker Room changing into ring gear.

"Hayden your boyfriend's outside for you." Britt said smiling

"Max is not my boyfriend."

"Yeah right."

Hayden stepped out into the hallway two minutes later. She could tell he had something behind his back

"Hi." She said.

"Hi." He took out a bag of cookies from behind his back. "Do you still like these?"

"I love them." She took them. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." "Wanna go to dinner tonight?" "Not a date, just two friends having dinner."

"Sure."

"I'll see you later."

"Alright." She went back inside.

"Aw, your boyfriend gave you cookies." Britt said.

"Shut up."

Max was in catering making a coffee. Sam came up to the catering table. He'd seen Hayden and Max hanging out.

"What are you doing with Hayden?" Sam asked.

"That's our business, not yours."

"You'd better not hurt her."

"I won't." "I'm not you." "I'll tell you the truth." "I like her, I want to be with her." "You don't deserve her."

"I'm not giving her up just like that."

"You're such a dumbass." "You had her."  "You had everything." "You threw it all away for some slut." "You had your chance." "This is mine, I don't intend on wasting it." He walked away.

After dinner Max walked Hayden back to her room.

"That was fun." Hayden said.

"Wanna meet up for breakfast in the morning?"

"Yeah." "I'll see you tomorrow." They hugged. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Hayden had been in her room for about ten minutes. She was about to change into her pajamas and get ready for bed, when she got a text. It read.

I know you don't want to talk to me. Just give me five minutes, please. That's all I ask. Please Hayden. - Sam

Hayden sighed frustrated.

Hayden had decided to go. She took three steps once getting off the elevator. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Alexandria about to knock on Sam's door at the end of the hall. Her heart sank. She turned around and got back on the elevator.

When Sam heard a knock on his door he instantly got happy. However his happiness immediately dissipated when he saw Alexandria.

"What the hell do you want?" He said annoyed.

"Wanna have sex?"

"Christ, when are you gonna get this?" He said angrily. "I don't want you." "I don't love you, I never did." "I hate you." "I wouldn't touch you again if my life depended on it." "I let the best thing in my life go, for a skank." "I was horny and you were there." "That's all you were for." He shut the door in her face. She walked away angrily.

Meanwhile Max heard a knock on his door. He was surprised to see Hayden standing there.

"Hi." He said. She went in without saying a word shutting the door behind her. "Are you alright?"

She didn't answer. Instead she kissed him. He kissed her back. They went into the bedroom. They got on the bed taking off each other's shirts. Max was glad she was there. He'd wanted this since they'd started talking again. Hayden knew Max wanted her and only her. She needed the feeling that she was wanted and needed in the moment

Afterwards they were laying there. They kissed and went to sleep without saying a word to each other.
