Hayden and Alexandria talked for fifteen minutes. Right after that Hayden and Max's food came.
"Who was that?" Max asked. "That didn't sound like a good phone call."
"That was Alexandria."
"What?" He said surprised. "What did she want?"
"I don't know." "She wants to meet for breakfast tomorrow morning."
"Hayden you shouldn't get involved in this."
"I'm not getting involved in anything." "I just want to know what she wants." "Plus I have a few things to say to her."
"Hayden this thing with Sam isn't your business." "Leave it alone."
"It'll be fine."
"No, you're not going."
"Excuse me, did you just tell me I'm not doing something?"
"Yes I did." "You don't need to do this."
"Ok, first of all, fuck you." "Secondly, I'm not hungry anymore." She stood up.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm taking an Uber and going back to the hotel." "Don't bother coming over tonight." She walked out the door.
At around midnight Hayden was awakened by Max kissing her.
"I'm sorry, I'm an asshole." He said. "Let me rephrase what I said." "That woman is crazy." "I'm worried about you being alone with her."
"I can handle myself Max."
"I know you can, but I want to go with you."
"If you go with me, she might not say what she wants to say to me."
"I'll go in disguise." "I just want to be close by." "Ok?"
"Ok."
The next morning Hayden and Max went to a cafe. They took separate cars. Max had on a hat and sunglasses. Hayden sat down in a booth. Max sat at the counter. Alexandria came in five minutes later and sat in the booth.
The following morning Sam got a call saying there was a development in the case. He wondered what it could be and hoped it was positive. When he walked into Mr. Cooper's office he was surprised to see Hayden sitting there.
"What are you doing here?" Sam asked surprised.
"I'm helping you nail that lying bitch."
