Toxic Affair

Chapter 3

Two days after she injured her shoulder, Hayden was at home alone in St. Louis, Missouri. She already hated it. She was sitting on the couch went the doorbell rang. When she answered it a delivery person had a life-size teddy bear.

"Hayden Chambers?" He asked.

"Yes."

"This is for you."

"Can you please bring it in and put it on my couch?" "With my arm in this sling I don't know I can lift it."

"Sure thing." He put the bear on the couch and left.

Hayden opened the card on the left paw. It read.

I hope this makes you feel a little better. I love you. - Sam

Hayden smiled.

Sam was just leaving the hotel gym. His phone rang. He sat down in a lobby chair to take the call.

"Hello?" He said.

"I love you." Hayden said.

"I love you too." "Did you get it?"

"Yes, it's adorable." "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

"What are you doing?"

"I just got done in the gym."

"I'm gonna go take a shower." "I just wanted to call you and say thank you and I love you."

"When I come see you this weekend, I'll be your nurse."

"Ooh, sounds like fun."

"It will be."

"I love you."

"I love you too." "Bye."

"Bye." They hung up.

Sam got up and went over to the elevator. He pushed the button. Alexandria came up next to him.

"Hi." She said.

"Hi." The elevator dinged. They got on and pressed the buttons for their floors. Hers was before his.

"How is Hayden?"

"She's good, bored though."

"Poor thing." "Would you feel comfortable giving out her address?" "I'd like to send a sympathy card."

"Give me your number." "I'll text you the address when I get back to my room." "I want to make sure I have the right zip code." She gave him her number.

"You two don't live together?"

"No, she wants to be engaged before we live together."

"Did you just finish working out?"

"Yeah."

The elevator dinged. She got off and turned to face Sam. "You look sexy all sweaty like that." She smiled. He smirked. The doors closed.

That afternoon Hayden heard another knock at the door. This time it was Get Well balloons and a card. She opened the card. It read.

I hope you feel better soon. - Alexandria

Hayden thought that was very sweet.

Later that some people were on the AEW tour bus, including Alexandria and Sam. Sam was in the front of the bus. Alexandria sat down next to him.

"Wanna play cards?" She asked.

"Sure."

After two games of cards they just talked. They talked about everything from their childhoods to their interests.

"What?" Sam said. "It can't be that late already." She looked out the window. The sun was starting to rise.

"We've been talking that long?"

"I guess." "I'm going to bed." He stood up. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." He went back to his bed. After tonight she wanted and was attracted to him even more. "Having sex with you is going to be fantastic." She thought.
