Chapter 11

Hayden joined everyone in California the following Wednesday. On a break from autograph signings, Hayden was in her hotel room. Sam came through the front door.

"Hey honey." Hayden said happily.

"Hey baby."

"I wasn't expecting to see you until we were at the arena."

"I couldn't wait, I needed to see you." They kissed and hugged. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too." "I can't wait for tonight." "I can't wait to see everyone, I can't wait to wrestle, I can't wait for our date." "I'm just so glad to be back."

Fifteen minutes later Sam left Hayden's room. He got a text. Without even looking he knew it was Alexandria. Since breaking things off she'd text him every day. He never responded and deleted them.

Later that night at the arena Britt went over to Alexandria.

"Hi." Britt said.

"Hi."

"How are you?"

"I'm hanging in there but I miss my boyfriend."

"Have you talked to him at all?"

"No, he refuses to talk to me."

When Hayden went into the Women's Locker Room, Britt was there. Britt was immediately torn when she saw her. She wanted to tell her but knew it would completely break her heart. She wanted to believe Sam that things were over with Alexandria.

"Hi." Hayden said.

"Hi." They hugged.

"Welcome back."

"Thanks."

Hayden won her match.

After the show Hayden and Sam went out to dinner. Then they went to the pier. Hayden was looking out at the ferris wheel.

"I forgot how beautiful it was here." Hayden said.

"Hayden look at me for a second."

When she looked at him he was down on one knee, holding the open ring box. The ring was sliver and had the biggest diamond Hayden had ever seen. "Sam." She said shocked. "Really?" She said smiling.

"Yes really." He said smiling back. "I love you Hayden." "Will you marry me?"

"Yes." He put the ring on her finger and stood up. They kissed and hugged.

"Do you like the ring?" "I designed it myself."

"I love it Sam, it's beautiful." "I love you."

"I love you too." They kissed. Just then Sam got a text Sam knew it was Alexandria. "No, you're not ruining this for me." He thought. "Go away."
