Chapter 21

Sam was on Chris Jericho's podcast.

"Are you and Hayden Chambers still friendly with each other?" Chris asked.

"Not really." "Not that I blame her." "We haven't spoken in months." "She's moved on with her life." "I'm not gonna lie, it hurts bad but I have no one to blame but myself."

Hayden had had six successful championship defenses. A few days after Sam was on Chris's podcast, Hayden was on Renee's podcast.

"You've been on fire in your professional life lately." Renee said.

"It's been great." "I pride myself on being the TBS Champion."

"Do you have any goals as champion?"

"I want to be the longest reigning TBS Champion, I know it'll take a lot of work, but I'm ready to put the work in."

"Did you happen to see Darby Allin's comments on Chris Jericho's podcast."

"I did."

"Do you have a response?"

"I hope he finds someone who makes him happy, I truly do." "As he said, I've moved on with my life, I'm happy." "I'm seeing someone."

"I know who it is." "You guys make a cute couple."

"Thank you."

"Given what happened in your last relationship, did you think you'd be dating another wrestler?"

"Absolutely not." "Years before we started dating he had a crush on me." "After my break up he was there for me." "It grew from there." "Now I couldn't be happier." She said smiling.

Later that night Hayden was in Max's room. They were sitting on the couch.

"Sweetheart." She said.

"What?"

"I love you."

It was the first time she'd said that to him. He looked at her and smiled. He was so happy. "I love you too Hayden." They kissed.
