Chapter 26

I'm thinking about doing a story based off of the movie The Crow. Would you guys like that or would you be lost?

The following week Hayden and Max were hanging out in his hotel room hanging out. They were talking about their wedding.

"How would you feel about an autumn wedding?" Hayden asked.

"Are you thinking about a date?"

"I'm thinking September 27th."

"That's only five and a half months."

"Do you think we can get a wedding planned in that time?"

"Sure we can."

"Let's do it." "I'm thinking something to."

"What?"

"That we should move in together."

"You want to become a New Yorker huh?"

"Yeah."

"Alright." "Ow!" She said getting a pain in her head.

"Another headache?"

"Yeah." "I hate these new birth control pills." "Fucking insurance."

"Ask the doctor for a different prescription." "Or just stop taking them." "I can buy condoms."

In his hotel room Sam was getting ready to go to bed. He and Lucy had been talking every day. Their date was tomorrow night. When Sam got in bed he decided to call Lucy.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi." Sam said.

"Hi." "I was just thinking about you."

"I was thinking about you too and how much I'm looking forward to our date."

"So am I."

"How was your signing today?"

"Good."

Lucy and Sam met at the restaurant the next night. They were talking and having a good time. The subject of Hayden came up.

"How long were you two together?" Lucy asked.

"Two years."

"What happened?"

"I had an affair with another co-worker." "I regret it to this day." "It was a mistake I'd still be paying for, if it wasn't for Hayden."

"What do you mean?" He explained what happened.

"Now I'm suing Alexandria for defamation of character."

"If we were to get together, would I have to worry about you with other women."

"Absolutely not." "I've learned my lesson." "An attraction to someone isn't worth ruining a stable, healthy relationship."

Sam walked Lucy to her car.

"Can we go out again?" Sam asked.

"Yes we can."

"Can I give you a kiss?"

"Yes." They kissed and smiled at each other.

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight." She got in her car and drove away. Sam had a feeling this could really turn into something. If it did he wouldn't screw it up again.
