11. Stuck in departmental store!

Sumedh's pov:
I was holding a my phone flashlight in my hand. I saw her coming out from the washroom. Something mischievous idea came in my head. I went behind her as soon as she turned towards me I turned the flashlight on my face and raised my eyeballs up with open mouth.
"Ahhhhh, bhootttt!!"
She screamed at top of her lungs. She pulled my jacket. I lost my balance and fell on her. We both fell on the ground. I was top of her. My phone fell down from my hand but still I can see her face and her eyes which was shining in the dark.

"Your eyes"
I said getting completely lost in them.

"What??"
She said being confused.

"You look like a girl when you apply Kajol"
I said still being lost in them.

"what do you mean I don't look like a girl without Kajol"
She said and hitted on my stomach with her knee.

"Ahhh!!"
I slide on the ground while holding my stomach.

"idiot"
She got up and sees around.

"Sumedh why the lights are gone and why there is no one here??"

"The departmental store has closed"
I said casually.

"Whatttt!!!"
She again shouted in shock. She ran towards the entrance and started knocking the door.

"Hello, somebody please help us. We are inside. Please somebody open it"

"We are inside the mall, nobody can hear us. It's useless to shout"
I said while standing up.

"then also I will shout. What if somebody help us hearing my voice"
And she continued

"dumb girl it's already 10 till now the mall also will be closed. Who will come hear to help us??"
I asked being irritated.

"atleast I'm trying you are not doing anything. Hey, you have your phone we can call someone and ask for help"
Why this idea didn't came to my mind??

"right"
I took my phone from the ground as soon as I on the phone the flashlight got off.

"shit, battery dead I forgot to charge my phone"
I said while kicking my leg.

"your phone is also useless like you"

"you are very useful right, call someone from your phone"

"actually I left my phone in my room itself"

"wow, don't you have minimum common sense to bring your phone with you when you go out??"

"how do I know that I will get stuck here. This store is very near to my hostel I just wanted to buy only my cup noddles"
She said innocently.

"first tell me what were you doing inside the washroom from past 3 hours??"

"how do you know?? And is it a question to ask a girl??"

"ohh, sorry you are a girl right. And by the way apply Kajol everyday you look beautiful with it"
I said while changing the question she asked.

"Is it a compliment??"

"whatever you think"

"huh,Weirdo!"

"hello, we are stuck inside please somebody help us, hello!!"
I hit my head with my hand🤦🏻why this girl can't understand.

"I'm telling you again and again it's useless"

"I can't sit calmly like you here. If I don't go to my room. I should prepare another story to tell my warden. Don't know this time she will believe me or not. No, no I can't be here I have to go out. Sumedh please come and help me we have to get out of here"
I rolled my eyes. I went towards the entrance door and started knocking the door.

"please, please somebody's help us we are inside please open it we have to go home!!!"
I shouted dramatically. I stopped

"happy"
I said and sat on the ground. She made an irritating face and sat beside me.

"do you know Sumedh I always wanted to get stuck in a departmental store thinking that I can eat anything unlimited. But not like this that too with you"

"ohh hello madam I'm also not dying to stay here with you. I also got stuck here like you. I didn't gone to my house from yesterday Chachi gonna kill me"
She became silent for a minute and again spoke.

"Sumedh how did you got stuck?? I was in washroom so I didn't notice the time and nobody saw me but you??"

"woh...I"
Damn it now how to tell her that I...

His flashback
Sumedh saw Mallika going towards the washroom.
"this dumb girl is also here"
Before going to billing counter he wanted to see her so he was waiting for her outside the washroom.

"Why is she taking so long??"
He says while seeing the time in his watch.

"Should I go??"

"No,no I can't enter"

"Sir, hurry up store will be closed in 5 mins"
A worker said to him.

"oh,okay"
Worker left

"this girl gonna create another problem here"
So he went to the gents washroom and hide there.
Flashback ended

"Sumedh!!"
I heard mallika's voice.

"huh, ha actually I wanted to buy something very important so I came here at the closing time. Nobody noticed me and I also got stuck"
I created my own story and lied to her. But she looked still confused.

"wait, you said you came here at the closing time then how do you know I was inside the washroom from past 3 hours??"
Suddenly why this dumb girl is using her brain??

"Is it important now?? Listen we should stay here the whole night"
I changed the topic.

"what, Nooo!"
And it worked.

"we don't have any other option"
I said with fake sadness.

"but, aahh!"
She was going to tell something but she holds her stomach and shouted in pain.

"Mallika you sit here. I will be back"
I said and brought something to eat which will control her stomach ache.

"eat these bananas and crackers you will feel better"
I gave it to her. She looked surprised and ate it. Suddenly she started coughing I brought apple juice and made her drink it. She looked towards me and drank it. I patted her head.
After eating she slept with the support of the wall beside her. I took my jacket and covered her and I carefully made her head lay on my shoulder making sure that she sleep comfortably. Soon I also fall asleep and kept my head on hers....

(A/n: so all are thinking that I will end this story with their high school flashback no not at all. It's still beginning as I have already said this story be long I will not end it soon but the high school story will end in a few parts)
