20. Mallika got fired

At night

Sumedh's pov:
I was sitting in the garden holding a bottle of beer in my hand. Everything what and all happened today was roaming in my head. I started to drink the whole bottle of beer.

"Sumedh!"
I heard Arjun voice he took that bottle from my hand and throwed it on the ground.

"Have you gone mad?? You don't even touch the alcohol, then what happened to you today??"

"Arjun do you know, she...she rejected me?? I thought I can start my new life tomorrow with her and Aarohi but all destroyed, I really want her back"
I took another bottle and was about to drink but he stopped me.

"I can understand Sumedh but if you drink beer will she come back?? She needs some time..."

"No! She said clearly said that she don't want to stay with me"
I gulped the beer and said.

"Just wait and watch how I will make her life hell to live. Having no other option she will accept my me"

"But Sumedh you were the one who was saying we can't force someone to love us. Now you will forcefully take her?? This is not love"

"I'm just taking my revenge from her. She is just acting that she doesn't loves me. But I can see in her eyes she too wants me to be with her"
I drank and said

"one day she herself will agree that she loves me. I don't care she was obsessed with me before but now she really loves me. And I want her at any cost"
After saying this I continued drinking this time Arjun didn't stopped me. He was watching me with his hands in his pocket and with disappointment on his face. I don't know when I fall asleep. When I opened my eyes in the morning I was in my room. I quickly got ready for today's office.
Dada and Arjun told the employees about the fraud. And dada introduced me as new CEO of the company. And Arjun as a new COO of the company. Everyone clapped and were shocked too. I came forward.

"I don't want any delay. You all have to complete your work in time. Weekly once meeting will be held your presentation should be clear and interesting. And we have very less time so what are you all looking at start your work!
All got startled and immediately went back to their seats.

"Mallika, come to my cabin right now!!"
I went to my cabin just then I got call from Arjun.

"hello, Sumedh I have talked with India's the best doctor and there is no cure for diabetes. And she is still very small to do operations and all"

"damn it, talk to the world's best doctors. I want her to be cured at any cost"

I hang up the call after saying and throwed it on my table.

Sumedh's pov ended

Mallika's pov:
Why is he calling me?? My hands were sweating badly. I heard other employee talking about him.
"Arjun sir was so cool, he is so arrogant now I'm getting scared of him"

I took deep breath and went towards his cabin.
"come in"

I went in. He was doing some work in his laptop.
"Sumedh why are you showing your anger on the other employees"

I said little bit loud. He closed his laptop and started coming towards me. I took a step back. He hold my arm and pinned me to the wall. This time he didn't kept his hand behind my head. He hold my both arms tightly and said.
"first of all I'm your boss CEO of this company so you should call me sir, what!!"
I got frightened when he lost his temper.

"Si..sir"
I said in a low voice.

"louder"
He shouted

"Sir"
He left my arms and took some papers from his table.

"And what do you think?? You will reject me and I will leave you this much easily never! Ms. Mallika Singh you are fired!!!"
He throwed the papers on my face. It took me few seconds what just happened. I'm working in this company from past 7 years. How can he fire me, just because I didn't accepted him.

"you can't fire me like this"
I said can't able to imagine my life without this job.

"ohh really this is my company I can do whatever I want and you are fired that's it"
He said. Tears rolled from my eyes.

"Sumedh you have changed a lot. This wasn't the same Sumedh who was my competitor in school. Okay, I myself going out of this company right now. And again don't you dare to show me your face. And you have no right to meet Aarohi. So stop going to her school"
I left his cabin while wiping my tears.
I know that he everyday goes to Aarohi's school and meets her. But now this is enough. I don't want him again in my life. I went to my table and started packing my all stuff.

"Mallika are you alright??"
Priya asked looking at my face. She sees that I was packing my stuffs.

"what are you doing"
To stop me She hold my arm.

"Ahh!"
It was the same place where Sumedh was holding tightly.

"what happened to your hand??"
She asked with concern looking at my arms I was wearing full sleeve Anerkali. So she can't able to see what had happened.

"Priya I will tell you everything but not now please let me go"
I said she understood and nodded. I left the office.

At evening

"Mumma!!"
Aru ran and came towards me and hugged me. I broke the hug and said.
"Aarohi from today onwards you will not meet your new friend promise me"
Her face became sad.

"but why mumma??"
I forwarded my hand.

"promise me"
She kept her hand and said.

"promise from today I will not meet my friend"
Mallika's pov ended

At night
Sumedh's pov:
"Sumedh you shouldn't have fired her, she has not even completed her degree. Because of her grades and intelligence dada gave her this job. Now where she will work??"
Arjun said sitting beside me.

"I know I have already read her file"
I said

"but Arjun did you notice one thing there is written she is unmarried"

"what! Really??"
He said being amazed.

"She has only completed degree 2nd year in University of London. After that she completely dropped her studies and searches for job. Because she studied in our School and she was topper of the year she got job here easily. Why didn't she continued her studies?? And most importantly where is her Uncle and Aunt why they are not with her??"

"Sumedh this is fully puzzled only one person knows the answer for all these questions"
I looked at him being confused.

"Mallika"
He said and left my room. Yes, he is right only Mallika knows the answer for all this questions.
