Unable to bear the sight of Mallika's suffering, Sumedh's blood boiled with rage.
He grabbed the warehouse keys and drove straight to where Abhinav was held captive.

Sumedh's pov:
The moment I stepped into the warehouse, my vision blurred with anger. Abhinav was sitting slumped in the chair, his body already bruised and battered from previous punishments.
As I approached, he looked up, his face pale and lips cracked.

"Sumedh, please... I've had enough... Just kill me,"
he begged, his voice weak.
I ignored his words, grabbing the metal tray filled with needles.

"Kill you?"
I repeated, my voice cold and venomous.

"No. Death is mercy, and you don't deserve mercy."
I picked up a needle, gripping it tightly.

"Do you know what I just saw? My wife coughing up blood. Barely able to breathe. Do you know why she's suffering like this?"
Abhinav's eyes widened in fear, but he remained silent.

"Answer me!"
I roared, slamming the needle into his shoulder. He screamed in agony, tears streaming down his face.

"I... I'm sorry! Please stop!"

"Sorry?"
I snarled, driving another needle into his arm.

"Sorry doesn't bring back our baby. Sorry doesn't take away her pain. Sorry doesn't erase the fact
that you ruined my life!"
One by one, I hammered the needles into his body, leaving no inch untouched. His screams echoed through the warehouse, but I didn't stop.

"You're going to feel every ounce of pain she's felt. And when we're gone tomorrow, you'll still be here, rotting in this hell,"
I said, my voice cold and emotionless.
He sobbed, his voice hoarse.

"Please... just end it..."
I crouched down, grabbing his face roughly.

"You don't get to choose when it
ends. You'll suffer until your last breath. Just like she's suffering"

Sumedh's pov ended

At other side

Meanwhile, at Arjun and Priya's room the couple sat in silence. Priya's tears
soaked Arjun's shirt as she clung to him, her body trembling with grief.

Priya's pov:
"I... I can't believe it, Arjun,"
I cried, my voice breaking.

"I'll never... be a mother"
Arjun tightened his arms around me, his heart heavy with sorrow.

"We'll find a way, Priya. I promise. You're not alone in this"
But deep down, I could feel his helplessness.

Priya's pov ended

The next morning, Sumedh goes to Arjun's room. Arjun, still reeling from the previous night, was surprised to see him.

Sumedh's pov:
"Arjun, I need to talk to you,"
I said, my voice somber.
Arjun gestured for me to sit, concern etched on his face.

"What is it, Sumedh?"
I hesitated, then took a deep breath.

"After Mallika and I are gone... I want you and Priya to take care of Aarohi."
His eyes widened in shock.

"What? Sumedh, what are you saying?"

"You know the truth, Arjun. Mallika and I don't have much time left. But Aarohi... she deserves a future. A happy one. You and Priya can give her that,"
I said, my voice breaking.
Arjun shook his head, tears forming in his eyes.
