Mallika's pov:

Aru was recovered doctor strictly suggested us to keep her away from sugar. When I went home, the glass in which Aru drank milk was still kept on her table. I took it in my hand, and looked inside it carefully there was still so much of sugar in the glass. As if someone purposefully added more sugar. And my guess was right Sumedh's Chachi purposefully added sugar into Aru's milk. That means from past 2 weeks Aru, was drinking this milk. I kept my palm on my mouth. How can I be so careless about Aru. I shouldn't have believed Sumedh's Chachi. I should have checked it. Yes, this proof is enough I should tell Sumedh everything. I took the glass in my hand and went towards our room.

"Sumedh..."
I stopped at the entrance seeing him and his Chachi. He slept on her lap and she was caressing his hair.

"Chachi I was so scared, today when I saw Aarohi in that state. now I realised why you reacted like that when I got married. I'm sorry Chachi"

He said

"It's ok, Sumedh beta. Atleast you understood, I just wanted Shanaya to be daughter-in-law of this house but now it's not possible"
His Chachi said this looking at me.

"I'm sorry Chachi"
And he slept on her lap.
No,no I shouldn't tell this to him. Arjun is right, he has a blind trust on her. He won't believe me if I show any of the proof. Let he himself see her real side.

At night

"Mumma, beleive me I haven't consumed sugar"
Aru was repeating the same the line.

"Yeah Aru I know you won't eat sugar"
I said while making her sleep covering her with blanket.

"Today, dadi will not come??"
She asked

"No, from today onwards I'll only make you sleep with your bedtime story"
I said

"That means I won't get that dadi's special magical drink??"
She said sadly.

"what? Aru what do you just said??"

"mumma, dadi used to give me a glass of magical drink which is so delicious to drink"
She said,and I understood. Aru hasn't eaten sugar not even once. When she was 2 years I got to know she has diabetes. So after that I have never given her.

"Aru promise me from today onwards you won't drink or eat anything from her hand"
I asked forwarding my hand.

"but why mumma?? It was really so delicious. I like it a lot"

"Aru it's not any magical drink. She added lots of sugar to the milk"
I said she woke up in shock. And kept her hand quickly on mine.

"What!!! Promise mumma from today I won't take anything from her hand"

Mallika's pov ended

At other side
Arjun rushed into Chachi's room.

"what does that little girl do??"
And roared at her in angry.

"Not that little girl her mother. She ruined all my dreams by marrying Sumedh. So that night when Sumedh and that girl were talking about Aarohi's health I heard it. And targeted her daughter. She loves her daughter so much right. Then for her daughter let her leave Sumedh"
She said everything to him.

"Sumedh truly loves Mallika"
Arjun said in a low voice.

"I don't care whoever he loves, he have to marry Shanaya that's it"
Chachi said strictly.

"you closed my mouth by torturing me. but you won't be able to close mallika's mouth if she gets to know about what you did. She won't sit quite"
Arjun said and left her room.
