19. Sumedh proposes Mallika

Few days passed like this. Sumedh was coming for office sometimes he was busy with his clients meetings and with Aarohi he used to spend some time with her whenever he was free. Mallika was unknown about this. They found out who was doing fraud in there company. Sumedh sended him to jail.
Sumedh's pov:
"Thank God he got arrested now I'm free with this CEO job. Sumedh from tomorrow you will sit on that seat and I and dada will tell everything to the employees, I'm sure they will be very happy hearing you are the CEO"
Arjun said happily.

"And you what will you do??"
I asked him.

"me?? Hmm I will find any easy job for myself"

"no need you will stay in this office only but not like a CEO like a COO (chief operating officer)"

"but Sumedh.."

"no buts you are the new COO of this company that's it and today I'm going to do something special"

"what?"
He asks being curious. I told him my whole plan with each line his face expressions were changing and when I ended he looked at me with a scared expression.

"Sumedh you have thinked about it properly??"

"yes!"
I said being excited. I have thinked about it the whole night.

"but what if she says no"
He asked

"I haven't decided about it for now do what I say"
I said his role.

"your last day of being CEO so try to  convince her"
He just nodded and left to execute my plan.
Sumedh's pov ended

Arjun called Mallika to his cabin.

"come in"
She enters in.

"Mallika give these files to Sumedh"
Arjun said while forwarding some files.

"but Arjun..I mean sir why me?? There is other employees in this office they can give this to him"
She says innocently.

"But they are not as intelligent than you. Sumedh is not here, he has gone for Delhi to attend a important meeting and he forgot to take these files and his meeting gonna start in just 15 mins so hurry up"

"but how can I reach Delhi in just 15 mins??"
She asks

"flying"
Arjun said thinking about Sumedh's plan.

"what!!!"

"I mean outside a car is waiting for you they will take you to the chopper and you will..."
She said hearing the word 'chopper'

"what, chopper?? Arjun are you gone mad?? I'm not gonna do it"

"Mallika I'm your boss and it's my order"

"So what?are you saying me to sit in chopper and reach Delhi in 15 mins only for this files"
She said keeping those files on the table.

"Mallika try to understand Sumedh wants this file urgently and I can't go. So I'm asking your help"
Mallika thinked for a while and said while picking the files back.

"Fine I will do. I don't have time to argue with you, I'm going"
She left the cabin. Arjun took a breath in relief.

"God! This girl. I don't think so Sumedh will be successful in his plan"

Mallika's pov:
As Arjun said I sat inside the black car which was waiting for me. They took me towards a big black chopper which was landing on a helipad. I never seen chopper. I went near the chopper and I kept my leg inside it but due to my slippers my leg slipped.

"ahhh!"
I felt someone holding my hand and pulling me inside. I kept my both hand on his chest I raised my face up to see the person. I instantly took my hands back and sat properly.

"Sumedh you here??But You have important meeting right"
I aaked him being shocked.

"Can't you see I'm on my important meeting with you"
He said staring into my eyes and smiled.

"what, what are you saying?? That means Arjun lied me. Sumedh let me go"
I was about to get down but Sumedh pulled me in and locked the door.

"No! You can't"
He took a seatbelt one by one and pluged. At last he took the last seatbelt I felt hesitation he once looked at me and plugged it. He then putted his seatbelts too. And looked at me.

"Mallika I wanted to talk with you something very important so I did all this"
He paused and continued. What does he wants to talk with me??

"I know in our past a small misunderstanding made us stay away from eachother. And I want to explain you what happened that day but I will wait till you only ask me about that day"
He said keeping his hand on my hand. And continued

"In these 10 years everything has changed. But I want to forget these 10 years and restart our life"
Our life?? What does he mean??

"I don't want to know about your past just be with me. I will take care of you and Aarohi. Aarohi needs a father love and I have already accepted her as my daughter"
I was speechless fully blank hearing his words. He continued

"So I'm ready to be Aarohi's dad so will you accept me as Aarohi's dad?? I want you back Mallika I can't imagine my life without you these 10 years were more worst than hell. I realised how much you are important in my life. 'I wanna be yours Mallika only yours'. I know it's very difficult you to make a decision take how much time you want Mallika I'm ready to wait for you"
He completed I closed my eyes and took my hand from his.

"No! Sumedh I can't spend my life with you. I and Aarohi we both are happy in our small world. And I don't want anyone to come in this world"
He was about to say something but I said.

"Sumedh I can't able to sit here anymore please tell them to land the chopper"
I said tears filled in his eyes.

"Mallika I'm asking you again think about it, please"

"How many you ask my answer will be no"
I said straightly. I know it hurted him a lot but for some reason I have to do this. The chopper landed on the helipad. I was trying to take off the seatbelts but it got stuck and I can't able to unplug it. Sumedh came near me and took off the seatbelts softly. I fisted my hand trying to be strong holding my tears. I got down and started moving now I can't able to hold my tears anymore. I wiped my tears and was walking from there as fast as I can. I stopped hearing his voice.

"You have done a very big mistake dumb girl now you have to pay for this!!"
I ran from there.

He shouted on her face throwing the papper on her face.
