14 - Something's Off?

After I heard those words I sat up, I then looked right at her "Are you seriously trying to make me pissed off right now, because if so it's working, you got what you wanted, you wanted to teach me a lesson well here is your lesson, you bitch!" I snapped at her instantly, Newt once again puts his hand on my thigh looking concerned before he started frowning.

I shuffled back noticing his expression "I'm fine.. I just need some sleep Newt.. If you guys wouldn't mind.." I said they both exchange glances with each other before heading to the cell door, after making sure they had left, I laid back staring at the celling, hoping I could get some sleep without any memories.

I had been sleeping in the cell most of the day because what else was I meant to do after the whole situation with Teresa before, but the sun started to set as I had just woken up and I could see a bunch of commotion and heard people talking some what near the cell.

"Guys.. The doors... They aren't closing.." I heard Newt say worried "This hasn't happened before.." Alby's voice spoke up, The doors hadn't closed? I thought that wasn't normal because they always closed when the night came.

I got up limping over to the cell door looking out as much as I could see "Guys?" I called out but none of them came, I guessed I really upset Newt because he hadn't come back here to visit me, one person who did come visit me hourly was Teresa to aggravate me even more I guess she can't take hints to leave me alone.

Alby and Thomas made sure to come see me thought realising that something had happened between Newt, Teresa and myself and they didn't want me to feel alone or isolated here, They always sat outside trying to talk to me, but the infection was starting to spread even more across my up chest, to the point I had become easily irritable.

I was laid back in the cell as always when I suddenly heard voices from outside the cell, I glance over seeing Alby, Gally and Thomas standing that looking at me "Come on, something weird is happening and I want to check you over" Alby said, they opened the cell door and I stood up with not efforts of fighting them, Gally and Thomas each grab a side and walk me out of the cell, I took a deep breathe of fresh air looking around the glade "Something definitely seems off" I said.

"We know, ok now walk" Gally said very aggressively, almost dragging me to the medjack hut pushing me inside before slamming me against a bed, I wince in pain as he ties the restraints to my arms and legs, I glare at him "Fuck you, You didn't have to slam me you asshole" I said while wincing in pain.

He rolls his eyes as Alby walks over and starts checking me over with Jeff helping, Thomas looks at me taking my hand in his "Sorry" he said apologetically, I just nod at him as the do many things that involved a lot of poking and prodding which caused more pain, Alby eventually reaches the area of where I'd been stung, I inhaled sharply "Sorry Y/N.." he said "It's not getting any better" Jeff said Alby.

"The herbs aren't working for her are they.." Alby asked Jeff nodded "no the aren't but at least she hasn't flipped out yet" He said lightening the ordeal "Even if she was we can't throw her out, because of those stupid doors" Gally said completely unimpressed.

All of a sudden there was the sound of commotion and screams from outside, They all bolted outside to see what it was leaving me alone, I heard more screams on top of that familiar mechanical sound of the grievers outside, they were here.. In the glade.. I thought trying to free myself with no success.

"NEWT! TERESA!" I hear Tara yelled, then hearing her footsteps bolt off, I start to panic as I was trapped here and no one had came for me I yelled but again no one came back, I could hear the sound of fires roaring around me multiple griever's all around me, that when I then managed to free my right hand using a lot of strength I then used it to undo the restraints that Gally had done tightly on me.

I limped to the door, peering outside I could see multiple grievers and people being chased, I then looked over at the forest seeing some of them hiding there, so as quickly as I could I got myself over there too, I frantically climb the ladder to the tree house and closed the hatch behind me, after doing so I cover the hatch, I then turned around and spotted two familiar faces,It was Teresa and Newt.

"Y/N your safe!" Newt whispered but I hadn't heard him, I was far from in control of myself my gaze was dead set on Teresa the whole time.

"How did you get free?" He asked me, snapping me out of the state I was in "I got my arm free and untied myself" I explained he smiled embracing me in one of his hugs.

"I'm glad you are safe Y/N" he said I raised a brow my mood changing "Are you? You didn't come visit me after that whole thing with her" I said turning back to my gaze set on Teresa "of course I am I didn't think you'd want to talk" he said as I continued glaring at Teresa the whole time.

"Newt.." she said moving behind with to which I then noticed the blade of her machete in her hand as she did so that's when I completely just lost control of myself and just like Ben I had flipped.
