27 - Your older brother..

Y/N Pov

We finish laughing and get up to leave the tree house, Teresa pauses walking over to her trunk pulling something out "You can't go out with just a t-shirt, you're neck remember" she says reminding me of all the hickeys that I had completely forgotten were all over me, she chucked me one of her hoodies, throwing one on herself, I caught it quickly putting on the hoodie too.

"Thanks Love" I say kissing her on the lips "You're welcome my love" she said kissing me passionately back before breaking, "We should head down before the others wonder if we are dead or something love" I chuckle she shakes her head "They really like being noisy especially my sister I noticed her talking to you the other night wasn't she" Teresa said "Yeah she was saying she knew I liked you" I laughed very softly.

We headed down the ladder and over to the garden to start work for the day, "Hey Y/N, What's with the hoodie?" Newt asks glancing at me, while throwing a basket in my direction "Nothing, I'm just cold today, and this is warm and comfortable, can a girl not enjoy a good old hoodie" I ask him, "But it is hot out today?" I hear Thomas yell I glare at him for a second "ok, maybe it is but I have a see through top on under this and you boys sure as hell ain't seeing none of that" I say rolling my eyes, it wasn't exactly a lie, it was but I did sorta have a see through t-shirt on under it "whatever you say Y/N" Thomas yells "Boys leave the poor girl alone ok" I hear Tara call out, I loved that she acted like their mother being older than them quite a bit.

"Thank you!" I yell to her she smiles "Oh no problem but we are talking later, it's been too long" she says I nod "Sure thing" I respond getting back to work, "anyways talking about things how is Teresa's lovely little hangover in your perspective Y/N" Newt asks curiously I glance at him "Well she is definitely hungover that's for sure I gave her water before I left" I said lying to them about what had happened as well I felt bad about lying but I didn't want them finding out.

"Yeah, my sister was very drunk last night" Tara says as Newt nods his head "It looked like she was looking your way Thomas an-" but he gets cut off by Teresa who walks over here "And what?" she asks picking up a bucket with water in glancing closely at Newt.

"Nothing!" He says getting back to work almost instantly going into the garden, I look over at her and let a smile form on my face and she returns one almost smirking as she directly winks before heading back to work herself, I then hear my name called "Y/N! Can you bring me a bucket of water here!" Newt calls out "On it!" I yell getting the bucket of water and kick pebbles along the path to the lake with the bucket grasped in my hand.

I gently lift the bucket into the water slowly filling it but as I go to lift it out my leg gets caught in a vine and I get sent flying into the water, going beneath the water hurting my ankle in the process of it, I managed to free myself swimming back up, feeling someone grasp onto me and pull me out of the water "Are you ok!?" the person asks me I turn to see it's Gally.

"Yeah.. I got tangled in some vines trying to get water I think I've hurt my ankle" I say as he crouches down, looking at it "I couldn't lose you, not again.." he mumbles, causing me to freeze.

Y/N Memory  

"Y/N! Are you ok?!" a young boy asks looking over at my leg, I nod my head slowly despite the big gash and bruises across my leg and my ripped clothes a smile appears on my face "I am fine" I respond to him "You should really be more careful! I can't bare to lose you Y/N, It would break me!" he yells pulling me into his arms tight not wanting to let go.

Y/N Pov

"W-Wait.." I say shocked by the sudden memory "hm?" he says releasing me from the hug he had me in "Gally.. You.. You're my..." I stumble unable to finish the sentence shocked "Your older brother.." he finishes it for me, he helps me up pulling me into a hug and we both smile holding tight, "Here let me help you back" he said putting my arm around him helping me to walk back down the path with the bucket full in his other.

We reach the garden where the others turn and glance over seeing us, Teresa is the first to get up and bolt over to us seeing him helping me to walk to them "Oh my god! Y/N what happened?" she asks concerned looking at me looking pretty worried "I got caught on a vine and dragged into the water, Gally saved me, but I've hurt my ankle" I said as Thomas took the bucket passing it to Newt .

"Her ankle isn't broken or anything most likely just sprained so I'm going to take her to Jeff to get it checked out and dressed up" Gally said everyone returned to work as Gally helped me to limp my way over to the medjack hut, we entered the hut and Jeff helped him get me to a bed passing me a med kit to hold as he looked at and cleaned the pretty decent sized cut that was sat on my leg "luckily no stitches" Jeff said after dressing it and send us on our way, Gally made sure I got the tree house ok "Thanks Gally" I say "Anytime sis" he says leaving, I got up the ladder and change into some dry clothes.
